J.B.Blue
J.B.Blue is a hip-hop/R&B group comprised of Jacqueline, Jason, and Jennifer Bahou. All three are musically gifted at playing the piano and singing. At the early ages of two, four, and six, under the tutelage of their mom, they learned to sing acapella and perform in front of large crowds. The trio's talent surpassed their years, and the gospel songs that they sung touched many. In their early teenage years they realized how influential music is, so they began to take their talents seriously and formed a group that has evolved into J.B.Blue. They are continuing to cultivate their gifts as they create music of their own-music with a message that comes straight from their hearts.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, they were exposed to many different types of cultures and many different types of music. From the oldies, classical, and hard rock, to hip-hop, jazz, R&B/soul, and gospel, their style of music is a reflection of their eclectic background. Through their collaboration and determination to get the message heard, they started to perform anywhere they were invited. They have opened for Telecast, Grits, and the Katinas. And in June 2005 they performed in an all day Christian music festival under By Faith Productions where Audio Adrenaline was the headliner. And with all of this that the Lord has given them, they sing and rap with just one goal in mind, to spread the good news of Jesus to others.
Jacqueline, the youngest of the three, is full of spirit and loves to laugh. Her favorite style of music is any kind of music that allows her to worship her Maker. She loves to sing and dance for the Lord and with her heart of worship, she is currently the youth worship leader at the Voice of Pentecost in San Francisco. She has been playing the piano since she was five and the flute since she was ten years old. Her heart's desire is for people all around the world to feel the presence of God through the music that she writes and sings.
Jason is full of character, however, it is not him who shines on stage, but it is Christ shining through him. Through his experiences in life he has come to one conclusion, the love of Jesus Christ is the only thing that ever lasts. Every song he writes is a portrait of his heart's emotions. He thanks God for blessing him with this love for music, because it is through music that he finds relief, spiritual and emotional healing. He only prays and hopes that he allows God to fully use him in reaching this broken world for God's glory.
Jennifer is the quiet one with a big heart. She finds peace when she is alone, because it gives her time to have one on one talks with God. She enjoys the company of others, especially when the company is her family. She also loves to give back to her community by being a youth mentor at Church On The Hill in Vallejo, California. Through the relationships between her family members, close friends, and day-to-day experiences, she is able to write songs that allow her to express her genuine feelings. Music provides her with comfort and peace, and she only hopes that the songs she writes will touch others. Her vision is that through music people will be able to see and feel how wonderful and awesome God is.
