    Sarah Lawrence
    Sweet Hello
Songs about wishing, waiting and having a dream come true. Musical theatre favorites plus a few other gems sung by an artist who tells this story with an audible smile.
Sarah Lawrence is enjoying a widely varied career. Her expanding repertoire includes oratorio, operetta, opera and musical theatre. The release of her first CD, Sweet Hello, marks her debut as a recording artist. Sarah is currently appearing as Christine Daae in the Third National Tour of The Phantom of the Opera. The company recently spent two months performing in the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. While they were there, Sarah recorded her first album, Sweet Hello. The CD includes favorites from musical theatre and operetta as well as other gems, and it tells a sweet story. From the first quiet moments of wondering in “What Will It Be For Me?” from Regina, to the impatience of “Show Me” from My Fair Lady, to the romance of “And This Is My Beloved” from Kismet (sung with her husband, Cal Metts, who appears on three more tracks), this is truly a story about dreams coming true. Most of the tracks feature new arrangements by Sarah’s college friend,Boston-based composer John Paulson. The arrangements start with just a few instruments and grow to a nine-piece ensemble as the story unfolds. His take on classics like "Yes, My Heart" fits her voice and the optimistic mood perfectly.
