    Laustin
    Two Not One
country, folk, rock, alt country, this music reminds me of Johnny Cash and June Carter or even TIm McGraw and Faith Hill. It is unique and exciting to hear these voices together.
Introducing Larry Bagby and Justine Bennett (LAUSTIN) These two musicians are on the road spreading their music across North America. This newly formed duo titled Laustin, made it through to the final callbacks of Nashville Star, (NBC's country music equivalent of American Idol). In support of that, they are out together on tour this May. Here's a little history on the both of them... You may knowLarry Bagbyfrom his onscreen performance as Marshall Grant, Johnny Cash's bass player in the film "Walk the Line", or for his recurring role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But Bagby is not just an actor who can play music; he is a consummate musician who can also act. His musical style is country with a touch of rock, perfect for placement in movies and TV. Most recently Larry performed the song "Counting My Lucky Stars", on an episode of Cold Case. He's an extremely talented singer/songwriter and performer that you won't want to miss. Justine Bennett is a singer/songwriter who lives and plays weekly in San Francisco, CA. She was born and raised in a small town in B.C., Canada and her vocal style is a cross between Sarah Mclachlan, Joni Mitchell and Natalie Merchant. She's played in many venues across the US and Canada and was just featured in one of the biggest music festivals in the United States, SxSw, in Austin TX. Larry and Justine have come together to write and record their first duo album entitled "Two Not One". Their music meets somewhere between Tim Mcgraw/Faith Hill and Johnny Cash/June Carter. It's a unique combo that's turning heads wherever they go. These two musicians have both built strong solo careers over the past decade...but together have found the missing link in each other.
