NEW WORLD REVOLUTION: Karmakaze (limited edition CD and comic).... The Karmakaze Comic is a visual guide to be consumed while listening to the eponymous New World Revolution EP. The lyrics of the songs outline 5 chapters of the 50 page booklet, loosely interconnected, dealing with Agent H, the NWR mascot. DO NOT use if pregnant, prone to epilepsy, or afraid of change. The Limited Edition CD/Comic packs are hand signed (Magickal Sigil Signatures) by Karmakaze artist James Mathers and NWR mastermind h3rwig maurer. Karmakaze creators: Produced and written by h3rwig maurer, renaissance man and multimedia artist (MANKIND LIBERATOIN FRONT, Smack3000, Academy award nomination for Mel Gibsons’ APOCALYPTO, HOSTEL...electronic hits charted by star DJs such as JOHN DIGWEED & CARL COX....photography featured in ROLLING STONE & ALTERNATIVE PRESS...) Mixed by Sean Beavan, engineer from outer space (MARILYN MANSON, NIN, NO DOUBT, PERFECT CIRCLE etc.) Illustrations by the renowned James Mathers. (director, painter, poet, cult leader), whose works reside in the collections of Nicolas Cage, Eric Idle, Marina Guinness, Adam Horowitz etc. Guest players: JULIETTE BEAVAN (8MM), Shok (MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT etc), Jeff Mince (NINA HAGEN, BETTER THAN EZRA), various members of LA based experimental jam band ANIMATRONICS. New World Revolution: The NEW WORLD REVOLUTION is an organization based in Los Angeles, modeled after the fashion of ancient mystic schools and secret societies. Its mission: the propagation of relevant survival information for the new millennium by means of corruption, subversion and infiltration of the established mainstream media channels. The front of the organization manifests as an alternative space rock group. Wall-of-sound fuzz guitars meet electronic production. Danceable beats and psychedelic noise layers carry lyrical propaganda messages, kick-starting the listener into actively experiencing realms beyond the commonly known three dimensions... Behind the scenes, the NWR Deprogramming Division serves up ambient and experimental soundscapes and backdrops for meditation. Interlaced with overt information as well as subliminal messages, these Deprogramming experiments accelerate your breakthrough into higher states of consciousness. Various philosophic, scientific and spiritual modalities are available for download free of charge and at events in form of music, art and multi-media presentations. NWR CREATOR h3rwig maurer BIO: The New World Revolution was conceived by Austrian native H3rwig Maurer, a renaissance man and multi-media artist, whose eclectic career continues to morph and transform across a wide range of territories. After fronting the punk band Fast Last Circus in his hometown Salzburg and releasing his first self-produced album at age 16, he ventures further into the production world and into industrial sound. Extensive experiments with subliminal messages, psychotronic frequencies and futuristic electronica follow, in the shape of the psychedelic multi-media project Xenocode. Upon his move to the States in the 90ies he releases numerous acid-house and techno 12"es on American as well as international labels (R&S, Zoom, Telepathic, Reachin’ Rec, City Of Angels, etc). His projects Smack3000 and Infocalypse Inc. find their way into the charts of influential DJs like John Digweed and Carl Cox, while he flunks his final piano exam at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Arriving on the west coast, H3rwig develops the production company and recording facility Alphastate, and gets his feet wet in the audio post production and film world. Musically returning full circle to heavier and more organic roots, he rediscovers his love for effect pedals and guitar feedbacks. Somewhere in between deals with EMI, RCA and a few Indies, he even finds time to focus on his various visual art projects. H3rwig is responsible for the atmospheric sonic backgrounds in Mel Gibson’s controversial Passion Of The Christ as well as Apocalypto, co-founded the alternative electro act Mankind Liberation Front, contributed music and electronic production to major motion picture scores (K-PAX, Ghost Ship, Cradle 2 The Grave), indie movies (Hate Crime, Zen & Zero - nominated for best original score at X-Dance 2006) and Television shows (CBS's C.S.I., MTV's Spyder Games, etc) alike. H3rwigs' involvement in metaphysic studies and alternative philosophies find expression in his music as well as his visual art; he is an accomplished photographer and painter, currently hosting ongoing guerrilla art events at his own Pacific N3xus Gallery in Venice Beach. “I know that I have a mission”. H3rwig believes in an inherent social function and high purpose of all art. He actively contributes to the reintroduction of the Shamanic healing aspects into art and music with his latest project, the New World Revolution.
