    Time For Changes
Oisin’s first CD ‚Time for changes’ is a collection of 11 brand new songs especially written and produced by Leendert van Stipriaan and Andi Gisler for the extraordinary voice of this young and talented Irish artist.
‚Time for changes’ – Oisin’s debut album marks the arrival of a truly special artist. Oisin Kavanagh was born into a musical Irish family in Kilkenny and knew from an early age on that singing was to be his life’s calling. At age 18, Oisin spent some time traveling through Europe and came to the attention of producers Leendert van Stipriaan and Andi Gisler while singing in an Irish pub (where else?) in Basel/Switzerland. Oisin’s outstanding voice and natural command of the stage were immediately impressive. Leendert van Stipriaan was the main songwriter and executive producer for the project while producer and co-writer Andi Gisler lead the studio sessions and also assembled the band. Oisin’s singing in the studio happened the same natural and expressive way as on stage, even more impressive given that this was his first ever time in a recording studio. In the process, Oisin became a true musical collaborator and provided lyrics to several songs. ‚Time for changes’ begins with a solo rendition of the traditional Irish ballad ‚Night Visiting Song’, thus honoring Ireland’s rich musical heritage while presenting Oisin’s voice in his purest form. The listener is then taken on a musical journey that runs the gamut from expressive ballads like ‚Just a boy’ and the easy swing of ‚Another Day, another night’ to the radio-ready sounds of ‚Perfect Stranger’ and ‚Quarter Past Eight’. ‚Time for changes’ is a fresh and sparkling-sounding pop production with an emotional depth rarely heard in a 20-year old artist.
