What a way to kick off a label! "Lose my mind" by Andrea Carissimi is a marvelous production featuring passionate vocals by Orlando Johnson alongside beautiful flute and horns over a relentless yet soulful, funk infused groove altogether spreading an irresistible feeling in the 'Just4Funk Mix'. The 'Soul Mix' uses a stompin', funk charged groove and adds lovely guitar riffs to create a feel good vibe, while the remix by Funkellers is a tightened disco-house affair with a funky twist.

Andrea Carissimi - Lose my mind
Seems like another label was born under the patronage of Italian producer Andrea Carissimi. Having released for EMI Music, Do It Yourself, D-Vision, Look At You (remember wonderful “Waiting For Your Love” with Woody Bianchi in 2007?), Barcoda (”Love Spin” with Fabio Bacchini in 2007) and Ocean Trax (”Can’t Wait Another Day” this year), now Just4funk Recordings is the new home based in Rome (Italy). A debut release is out on December 12th. “Lose My Mind” features vocals of Orlando Johnson and flute from Eric ‘Saxman’ Daniel. Pierced with funk feelings, package includes Andrea Carissimi Soul Mix (classic soulful cut with flute and guitars), Just4Funk Mix made by Andrea Carissimi with another italian producer Fabio Bacchini (more funkier and tougher), and Funkellers mix from Italian duo Filippo Guerrieri and Paul Cutie.
