She has a huge diversified international following. In 2008 she graduated one year early, with honors from Laurel Springs High School in California. She attends Santa Monica College maintaining high standards in both her entertainment career and her education. Diandra has spent a great deal of time doing community service on both small and large scales. Since beginning her career she has always given back to others. She is a 5-year avid member of The Looking Ahead Program at the SAG office and continually volunteers to give of her time to retired actors, inner-city projects and HIV/AIDS patients. Her passion is to be a role model for a new generation of talent. She is a 4-year member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and donates her time every year by reviewing Emmy submission. She has worked with a tremendous amount of talent in the industry for her age and has learned from them all. She has consistently built her well-rounded career while enjoying time with friends, and family, She enjoys being an ordinary teenager by shopping, attending functions with her peers, jogging, playing tennis, skiing, swimming, listening to her iPod, chatting and visiting friends. "Music has always influenced every aspect of my life. I grew up in Richmond, Virginia and spent my early years dancing and singing the Barney song for anyone who would listen. Even when I started my modeling career at two years old I wanted to have the music playing to strike a pose. My parents would take me to a variety of concerts and Broadway Shows everywhere including New York City and London. I danced for 6 years at Broadway Dance Center without air-conditioning. I associated music with life experiences and happy moments. I started taking piano lessons at my school in Richmond, found myself a member of the National Guild, and learned that music can be created in addition to being learned. Soon I began writing music and adding lyrics. I started recording in a Richmond Studio when I was 11. I was fascinated with the process and the artistry of making records. I recorded my first original songs after moving to Los Angeles when at 13 I was discovered at a local dance studio. I was asked to meet a top A & R executive at Capitol Records and sing for him. Little did I know it would grow into a transforming musical adventure! I was introduced to Adrienne Bailon, a member of Disney’s Cheetah Girls/3LW and got to cut my first song with her. I was elated that Infant Records picked up 2 of the songs. Suddenly, I saw myself on iTunes and was being followed by ABC Primetime Live, 20/20 and was asked to appear on Good Morning America. I still continue to train my voice and master my dance steps at various studios, including Millennium, knowing a career is a journey of continual learning and growing. Currently I have recorded 16 original songs and have starred in and produced three original music videos.” Diandra continues to hone her acting skills in addition to her music. Starting out in Richmond, Virginia she earned her SAG card at age 6. She attended Collegiate School while working. She was soon discovered by Wilhelmina Models and Abrams Artists in York City and decided to work there for 6 summers up until 9/11. It was there she filmed her first lead in a Major Motion Picture at age eight, “Loving Jezebel.” Other acting credits include: NBC PASSIONS, “The Guiding Light,” Disney’s “Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” ”The Gong Show,” multiple award winning Short Films, seven major motion pictures, leads in music videos including Faith Hill’s “Cry” and the Jonas Bros. “Year 3000,” She starred as Baby June in Lorna Luft’s “Gypsy” and has been in over thirty national commercials. She has been rewarded for her entertainment commitment and excellence with three OMNI Music Awards, four CARE Awards, a USA Showcase Award and a Young Artist nomination for best leading actress in 2007. Now, after 15 inspiring years of print jobs, professional theater, national commercials, music videos, network television shows, feature films and recording...She is extremely and anxiously ready to put out her own album, which is just the beginning of her original autobiography. No one has had a life like Diandra's. Yet everyone will be able to relate to something in it. I will not kid you; life has not been a Disney fairytale for this girl. She states, "Striving for success has met many setbacks and more rejection than I could ever have imagined when I started this endeavor. Keeping focused on my dream and the positive aspects of a rewarding entertainment career has inspired me to higher places. If it weren't for Almighty God, my family, a sense of humor, and the loyal group of professionals, friends and fans that have supported me through some of the past events...I would not be here for you today. I wake up every morning with the words "THANK YOU" on my lips. I owe so much to so many. I also encourage you to follow that dream passionately, take risks and be the best at what you do...whatever it is! Be yourself and be true to your calling!"
