    Doesitmatter
    A Patriot's Pride
Fast, technical punk rock with agressive-yet-melodic lyrics.
Formed in 2004, in Jacksonville from the ashes of other bands in the local scene, Doesitmatter combines technical, aggressive-yet-melodic hardcore punk with metal influences to produce a powerful sound that sounds more like the SoCal punk of the mid-90’s than the emo and softcore proliferating the airwaves today. Over the past 5 years, Doesitmatter has stuck to the DIY ethic of punk, and taken it upon itself to take the Jacksonville punk scene off of life support and cultivated a strong following around the beaches, where they frequently play Freebird, the Ocean Club, and Landshark, and have begun to expand their reach beyond Jacksonville, to Daytona, Orlando, and Gainseville. Mike Danhour-vox gtr (previous bands: Catch-22, Tampa) Colin Martello-gtr Todd Clary-gtr (previous bands: Yellowcard, Jax) KC Dautel-bass (previous band: Youth in Decline, Orange Park, Jax) Tripp Browning-drums (previous band: Forward Story, Jax) Doesitmatter has been featured in several skate, surf, wakeboard videos, Volcom events; Vestal Art Shows, Unity Fest, etc… The band has shared the stage with Guttermouth, Strike Anywhere, ASG, Against All Authority, Only Crime, A Wilhelm Scream, and others. Doesitmatter tour sporadically around Florida and have recently released their debut full-length, a self-produced record entitled “A Patriot’s Pride” and also has a track on the recently released “Punk Rock Concoction Vol. 3” alongside with other emerging forces in the punk world such as A Wilhelm Scream, The Dwarves, Pour Habit, and Chaser. Currently, their focusing on writing material for a second full-length album, and playing as many shows as possible.
