    Live as Hell
"Power Blues is an apt description for a trio that treads the territory laid out by ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the Allman Brothers. Watch out for these guys." -- BLUES ACCESS Magazine
Atlas Records 2919 Audubon Drive Macon, GA 31204 478.475.9909 AtlasRecords@webtv.net www.Atlas-Records.net PRESS RELEASE January 20, 2009 Atlas Records is proud to announce the release of SONNY MOORMAN's "Live As Hell" cd with 14 new songs recorded live. It was co-produced by Sonny and noted producer-engineer-mixer, Erwin Musper whose diverse credits include working with such artists as Van Halen, David Bowie, Elton John, Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger and Yngwie Malmsteen. The sound quality on this cd is truly incredible and Sonny's guitars and vocals have never sounded better. The cd contains a perfect blend of blues and rock classics including Key to the Highway, Rattlesnake Shake, Cincinnati Jail, Highway 61 Revisited, Wham, Oh Well and a couple of real surprises. Sonny was the runner-up at the 2007 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Blues Festival Guides's 2008 Blues Artist on the Rise and has garnered numerous other awards and accolades in recent years. Take the advice of the late Bill Ector of Hittin The Note Magazine: "Sonny Moorman's award-winning blues is something you need to hear."
