Army Master Sergeant Floyd Joseph Szmidt, West Point, New York. He served in Korea and Vietnam wars. He was exposed to agent orange and after experiencing the horrors of war he wanted to open a flower shop, but never was able, due to cancer caused by agent orange. He loved the woods and nature (living off the land) and I believe that he did have a flower shop...... the forest was his flower shop. He died in 1973 of cancer. This is my humble attempt to pay respect to a man, whom I have had the honor to meet, through his beautiful children. May we all see the flower shop that is all around us ......
