    Music From Putti
    When I Wake Up
Original melodies from the Jewish Village of Putti in Uganda. Psalms, liturgy and original tunes. An amazing mix of East African and Jewish traditions
THis past February, I went to Jewish vilage of Putti in Uganda to produce and record some of the most amazing music I had every heard. THe melodies for many of the psalms were composed by the mother of Putti's spiritual leader Enosh Keki Mainah. THe music has a strong East African Influence and at the same time is some of the most original Jewish music I've ever been associated with. Putti is a community that is struggling to survive. All proceeds from the CD go directly to Putti to help them, for more information go to www.thejewsofuganda.com
