    A cross between traditional R&B and Smooth Jazz
    The band was formed in late 70's by Jimmy Hamilton, after several years, new members along with a name change. In 1974, now known as The Sai Whatt Band. As a five members self contained group coming from different backgrounds, which made them very versatile and diverse in the Smooth Jazz and R&B industry. Their origins are New York, Texas, Alabama, Washington, D.C. and South Carolina. Members are Jimmy Hamilton-keyboards and vocals, Frankie “Babe” Moore-vocals, Dale Hightower-vocals, Cliff Brown-guitar, and Warren H. “Hamm” Hagood II-drums and Vocals. The Band recorded with Total Experience Records as the group “Prime Time” and scored a hit record with their first of two albums, “Flying High”. The single “I Owe It To Myself” went to number 19 in the United States and was number 1 in Europe. The Sai Whatt Band/or some of it's members have appeared on American Bandstand, Soul Train, The U.N.C.F Telethon, The , Good Morning America/New York and at the Apollo theater. The group has also performed with some of the top names in the music industry such as Lionel Hampton, Stevie Wonder, The Gap Band, Waymon Tisdale, The Temptations, Chi-Lites, Neville Brothers, Bobby "Blue" Bland, B.B. King, Yolanda Adams, Barbara Morrison, Angie Stone, Ronnie and Eloise Laws, Buddy Guy, The Whispers, Ali "Ollie" Woodson, Linda Hopkins, James Ingram, Bebe Winas, Norman Brown, Eric Benet, Peggy Scott-Adams, Etta James, James Brown, Howard Hewitt, Bobby Brown, Angela Winbush, Boney James, Brian McKnight, and Wayne Brady just to name a few.
