Jennifer Graf
Echoes of Christmas Past
A musical journey back to a time of cathedrals, castles, and distant lands. Ethereal melodies combine with lush harmonies to create a truly beautiful holiday music experience.
Jennifer Graf's love of early music, which started in college, was the true impetus for the creation of this album. She took some of her favorite Christmas songs from the 14th to 18th centuries, and combined them with new discoveries on this ambitious album. Not only is she featured on many solo selections, but she recruited many of her talented singer friends to join her. There are five songs which feature acappella SATB quartet, two songs which feature full chorus, and two duets. Ms. Graf also sings harmony with herself on three tracks, where she recorded each vocal line separately in the studio.
She is accompanied by Mr. Terry Musselman, who also accompanied her on her first CD, "Tidings of Christmas." Jennifer also welcomed Kerry Ziegler on guitar, as well as Karen El-Chaar on recorder.
