    Seasick Blackout

    Earthology
Innovative and powerful lyrics with a blend of Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop and Spoken Word.
EARTHOLOGY has arrived. The follow up project to EKLIPSE released in 2004. This CD is a beautiful blend of Spoken Word, Soul, Hip Hop and Jazz. Floyd Boykin Jr., founder and creator of SpokenVizions Magazine and SpokenVizions.com has released an excellent third solo music project. It kind of places you in the mind of Guru’s Jazmatazz project due to the fact that there are various collaborations such as Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Maya Azucena, Tantra-Zawadi, Marc Marcel, Al Caldwell, Tia from Gravaty, Tracy Mitchell, Lamar Harris, Coco Soul, Angela Shaw, Seviin Li, Ms. Nterpretation, El Thought, CHILL, Derek Brown, Tylan, Patricia Daniels, Jacquette M. Boykin, Indigo Lee and Tyrone. and many more. Floyd is also a songwriter, bass player, a lupus activist and a filmmaker. With the release of the lead video single “She Could Be My Wife” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSacuCwgytA) , a major buzz has been created for the release of EARTHOLOGY. Laced with innovative lyrics and soulful music, this is a must have CD (digital release) to add to your collection. The entire album, with the exception of the lead single, was produced by Mr. Boykin. "She Can Be My Wife" was produced by Lamar Harris for JoWille Music. Lamar also played on "Work It' Out (We As A People). “I wanted to create a music project that could reach people who normally do not purchase spoken word CDs, but in the same sense, I did not want to compromise my poetry because I want poetry lovers to support this project as well. I think that my goal was achieved with EARTHOLOGY”, says Boykin. It is highly recommend that you give this 13 track digital release a listen and then add it to your collection. Don’t be surprise if this project becomes one of your favorites. by A Writer Name Power SpokenVizions.com
