Yip Harburg - With Humor And Hope
All of the songs have lyrics by E.Y. "Yip" Harburg, the lyricist for the Wizard of Oz, Finian's Rainbow, and many other films and Broadway musicals. The album highlight's Yip's songs of social comment -- songs with tremendous humor, hope and irreverence.

    Oceanside
"Oceanside" by Joey Stuckey is a little slice of summer magic. The music is all reminiscent of the beach and easy living. Just in time for the cold winter of 2009 comes some bright and warm sunshine courtesy of jazz music.

    The Stolen Sweets
    Sleepytime in Chinatown
The second full-length album from Portland's vintage swing jazz sextet!
SLEEPYTIME IN CHINATOWN features six original tunes written by Pete Krebs, David Langenes and the rest of the Stolen Sweets. Three of the originals {"Sleepytime in Chinatown", "Willie The Weeper, The Chinatown Creeper" and "Smokey Joe’s Holiday"} were inspired by the mystery and intrigue of Chinatown, along with Cab Calloway’s use of Chinatown as a backdrop for many of his most famous tunes. Some of Calloway’s most familiar characters appear on the record, making it somewhat of an homage -- and sequel -- to Calloway’s early yarns. The remaining tunes were inspired by 1930's radio stars The Boswell Sisters’ vocal arrangements and Django Reinhardt's gypsy jazz guitar style.
