    Sachin Raj

    Sachin Raj
Sachin's self-titled first album is his first major artistic statement. Its sound and sonic quality is bare with fingerpicked acoustic guitar, drums, bass, and an occasional organ and xylophone. Sachin is often branched to English folk artists such as Burt Jansch, Folk songwriters such as Paul Simon or the Beatles during their acoustic moments and modern folk-rock artists such as Elliott Smith and Iron & Wine. Sachin’s self titled debut proves that not he can craft a song, but he knows how to play with skill, conviction, and emotion. Recorded in late 2009 in Portland, Oregon. Produced by Sachin Raj and NC Skolrud. 10 Song Acoustic full length and 5 song EP from the same sessions also available on CDbaby.

    Kenneth Higney
    Attic Demonstration
At last, the original low fi garage rock cult favorite is now available on compact disc with two "bonus cuts". remastered from the original tapes. Contains complete lyrics and an essay by Higney discussing some of the myths and truths about the album
Attic Demonstration Kenneth Higney Killer record. Funny to say that now because my first spin left me with some kind of weird, temporary emotional disease. His lyrics are brutally hopeless and disheartening and I clearly remember thinking that this was NOT the type of music I wanted to surround myself with in life. Anyway, long story short, the album wore on and it ended up in higher rotation than any other LP I owned for weeks straight. Remarkable artifact that holds a very strange allure. Provides a fascinating glimpse into the damaged psyche of this thoughtful working class burnout. I don't really know the deal on "the band" here. I'm guessing it's Higney himself playing all the instruments, but I'm not positive. Either way, the guitar work on this one is super punk with highly charged fuzz blasts throughout and his rough-edged vocals perfectly suit the subject matter. Fans of Outsider expression will definitely wanna track a copy of this down
