    Conspiracy of Mind
    The Grand Deception
With a escalating following and a voice that has helped the strong movement of Hip Hop, covertly titled Emcee Just-1 and International Beat Master Nevahmind have, together, put full force into making a solid Hip Hop Album titled “The Grand Deception”, carefully selecting not only quality material for this 20 track album, but also polishing the album with some of the illest around the country: Chino XL, Canibus, Diabolic, Phillip Morris, Adil Omar, Guerilla War Tactix, Dums from ACL, Prince EA, Born Visionz
It all started on December 23:d 2008. Nevahmind had quit music. He was fed up and done. Trying to do everything by himself, making beats, mixing tracks, designing artwork, promoting. Enough was enough! The following is told by Nevahmind : I got a message on my MySpace page from this Just-1 guy, asking me: “Do you have any beats for vocal production?” And I was like: “What the hell is this guy talking about, beats for vocal production??” Hahhahaha! So I replied and asked him what he meant, the response was that dude wanted a beat. So I sent him a beat. Now, 2 hours (or 1, I can’t really remember) I get his vocals sent to me! What?? Already?? My initial thought was: “Wow, this is either gonna suck or be very dope!” 2 days later, on the 25:th of December 2008, we released our 1:st collabo track entitled: “Nocturnal” We exchanged AIM SN:s and we started to talk back and forth, for a long period of time. I sent him more beats and he kept recording and recording. I was very excited to finally have found an emcee who agrees with my beats so to speak and an emcee worthy of my beats. In January 2009 Just-1 told me that a friend of his, Matt aka Minty Matt, heard our music and that he really liked what he heard. Matt is a business man working with top people. He wanted to help us out and promote our music and we said: Go for it! 7:th of March 2009 was the release of our first EP, “Blinded by the truth” (through a Swedish Netlabel, 23seconds.org). It was a 5 track EP with songs recorded in December 2008. Seeing that this was our 1:st official release, we wanted to take our time and really get the EP right up to our standards. The EP got us radio plays on national radio in Sweden (P3 Soul with Timbuktu & DJ Amato), on radio stations in Germany, France, Bosnia, Norway, USA, Denmark and more. At this same time (Jan-Feb 09) me and Just-1 started to work on his solo debut album (later to become Conspiracy of Mind debut solo album). AIM conversations got replaced with hours and hours of phone conversations (Just-1 got a plan from his phone company to call cheap to Sweden) and I did too! While we did that, Matt was sending our EP to every record label exec that he could find. Sony/BMG Records told us to switch our style to a bit more “radio friendly” vibe and if we did that then they would like to talk to us, so we told them to go fuck themselves. The same went with many other “big” companies. We stand behind our music a 100 % and we will NEVER compromise it. Altering our music is altering us selves. And we like who we are! After a while me and Just-1 were thinking: “We’re making music together, but we don’t want to be Just-1 produced by Nevahmind on every track that we release”, so we decided to come up with a name that represents us. Conspiracy of Mind. That was the name that says it all about us and our music. Just-1 is still recording the debut album, Matt is still working hard, I am still making beats. So people got back to us saying that they want more music from us. We got together and decided to make a new EP for the fans. We released: “The day after” EP on 26:th of August 2009 (also on 23seconds.org). It contains 5 dope songs of pure audio conspiracy! In January we all had a conference call with Matt and me and Just-1 decided that Matt will be our manager. Seeing that Matt is a childhood friend of Just-1 we found ourselves fortunate to have a manager that we could trust and a manager who loves the music we make, not some business asshole who’s just trying to get a few bucks from us and do little or none work for us what so ever. As I’m writing this it’s 8:th of November 2009 and we have a debut album coming out in January 2010, featuring Canibus, Chino XL, Guerilla War Tactix, Philip Morris and a couple more names. I have released a free mixtape, “The 04:00 Sessions Mixtape”, we’re in talks with a couple of real Hip Hop labels and things are moving at a good pace. I’ll conclude this short bio in the words of Minty Matt: Let’s GO!!!!!!!!!!
