My name is Angelica. I heard you in a concert with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt last year April at the University of California, Santa Barbara. You won many hearts with your tabla work that night. Ever since "Bandish Fusion" is one of my favorite CDs. I would like to share with you that your composition "maa" has inspired me to choreograph a dance piece for a cultural show here at UCSB that will happen in the month of April. A friend of mine just told me that this same piece had inspired him to put together another creative project. Now my dance team is enjoying "maa" as we rehearse for the show. Thank you for the gift of beautiful music that you have made to the world. It truly is food for the soul. Regards, Angelica Scherp
Beautifully done; Great way to introduce our heritage to younger generation
author: suhas belgalSubhenda and company did a wonderful job. Adapting the complex works of Ustad Amir Khan sahib to the new age music is not only difficult but risky. Bandish Fusion is great way to introduce hindustani music to the younger population...

truely a unique album for world music lovers where old & traditional compositions of north india (the bandish) are blended so nicely with world fusion. what "shakti" did with south indian music...i think "bandish fusion" has done with north indian...... with subhen's expertise in tabla/percussion/rythm syhth ..devshankar's magical violin & raghab's powerful yet melodious vioce added spl color to this album. this album caters both easy listening & serious listeners of fusion music.
