notes
Traveling Ed Teja and Jim Luke got together in 2001 to share their love of simple acoustic blues. The began playing as a duo both because that is the way the music was intended and because they could fit into a broader range of venues than a large band suits. Acoustic blues is music of the people and they wanted to get out there playing it for people.
In a world where singer/songwriter means "folk music" and blues means "electric rock with a blues scale," they sometimes find it hard to find a niche to crawl into, which sort of suits the music too.
Now Jim is working out of Austin, Texas and Traveling Ed has moved to New Mexico where life is slower and maybe even bluesier.
