Templeton Thompson draws from a deep well of influences, from Emmylou Harris to Don Williams to Bonnie Raitt to Sheryl Crow, her music, rooted in country, has a distinctive, soulful edge.

As a songwriter, Templeton has found her niche among Nashville's elite. You can find her songs on Million-selling CD's from country superstars like Reba McEntire,Little Texas and Jo Dee Messina.

As a singer, Templeton is one of Nashville's in-demand session vocalists having sung countless demos. You'll find her listed as a background vocalist on CD's from superstars like Reba McEntire. She's also featured as a guest vocalist on "Action," the 2002 Atlantic Records release from French techno band Bosco. She has performed on stage for audiences around the US, in Europe and in Japan.

    This is my 3rd CD and I love them all. I am a Shania Twain lover but this music you can just listen over and over again. Some horse voices are nice as well as her interpretation. She is beautiful and the lyrics are beautiful. Difficult to describe more now... just soooooo goooooood!

    Rarely have I come across a CD that moved me as much as this one did. Every song speaks right to your very soul. You feel melancholy but surprisingly uplifted all at the same time. You can draw strength from songs such as I can do this and tap your feet to the upbeat That's where I want to live. I own both of Templeton's CD's and can't wait for another to add to my collection. Buy this CD and I bet she will quickly become one of your favorites as well!

    I first heard Templeton in Sacramento,CA at the horse Expo this year 2005 and loved her voice. Bought her newest CD then and wanted to get this CD too.     I'll tell you folks something right up front; you may not hear Templeton Thompson's songs playing on all your favorite radio stations, but you should; and you'll never hear songs with lyrics that are better than hers. This young lady wrote/co-wrote all 12 songs on this album and you can tell it just by listening to the words, because the lyrics have got so much heart poured into them. Like I've said before about singer/songwriters, they write a little of their heart & soul into the songs they sing, and wow, does this lady have soul. To sum it all up, I'm sorry I didn't buy a copy of this album sooner because it's an album of truly fine music; music that has meat to it; that has meaning in it; music that is very definitely worth every penny of the price.     I love Templeton's voice. This CD is very upbeat and fun, yet has lyrics that deeply touch in a personal way. I'm most impressed that part of the proceeds from the sales of this CD are going to EAGALA which trains and offers a much needed and viable service. EGALA couldn't have found a better spokesperson.     The songs are original and have a unique voice. This CD definitely doesn't sound like every other CD out there. I listen to it over and over. The kids know all the songs by heart. I could listen to Templeton sing forever. She makes every song a hit. Timeless.

    Ms. Thompson is putting out music far more interesting than most of what's coming out of Nashville these days. Her voice is at its best, in my opinion, when she's crooning heartfelt tunes because she has an incredible lilt of pain that comes through with these songs in particular. A great listen from an absolutely stellar artist.

    I already had this CD when I found it on this site. Wow Templeton is an amazing singer and this CD has alot of really great songs. The production is top notch for an indie CD. Better than 95% of whats coming out of the major labels in Nashville. Highly Recommended!!
