November 2006 update:
TIFFANY "DUST OFF AND DANCE wins best Dance song of the year "Be With U Tonite" and best Dance CD of the year at the JPF awards on Saturday Nov.4.

Joining up once again with the boys at the Backroom, the team that brought you the critically acclaimed "Color Of Silence," Tiffany has continued her passion and has at long last recorded the consummate Pop/Dance project her fans have so eagerly awaited. This collection of eleven club oriented tracks is a seamless blend of Euro Electronica and American Rock and includes a fresh take on her smash hit "I Think We're Alone Now" and a remix by the up and coming dance duo "Second Sun." Tiffany wowed millions in both the UK and America on NBC's 2005 summer smash "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and was recently heard on Ghostwhisperer, Ugly Betty and One Tree Hill.

Tiffany Bio

Like many successful performers, Tiffany's career began when she was very young. Born on October 2, 1971 in Norwalk, a quiet suburb in Southern California, Tiffany was performing nationwide at fairs, special events and on talent shows such as Star Search by the time she was five. Her performances were marked by an incredible presence and control that enabled her to deliver songs such as "Delta Dawn and "Stand By Your Man" with honesty and conviction.

By the time Tiffany was 13 years old, her voice and determination landed her an audience with producers George Tobin and Brad Schmidt. Soon after, she was offered a contract with MCA Records and began work on her first album-the self titled debut, Tiffany.

To promote the album to her target audience, a plan was hatched to have Tiffany perform nationwide at shopping malls. Within weeks she was singing to over 5,000 screaming fans in Salt Lake City, Utah. "Mall managers started to look at Tiffany differently after Salt Lake City. The turnouts were getting enormous," explains Schmidt. "It started out as a marketing tool and as a way to get her in front of people and it turned into a phenomenon."

Overnight, Tiffany had become a pop culture and teen icon featured in magazines, newspapers, and even on the The Tonight Show. Both "I Think We're Alone Now" and "Could've Been" were US #1 singles. "I Saw Him Standing There," which hit the Top Ten, was also included on her 1987 debut album. Tiffany even managed to dethrone the King of pop, Michael Jackson, knocking him from the number one spot on the album charts. Tiffany's trajectory to super-stardom was unprecedented: Her humble beginnings with a mall tour led to two number-one records and domestic album sales beyond the six million mark, with over 14 million records sold worldwide. Her second album, Hold An Old Friend's Hand, went double platinum and included the Top Ten hit "All This Time."

By the early 1990s, Tiffany decided to take a break. "People think I disappeared. But I took time away to be a person, not just a personality." Time away from the spotlight allowed Tiffany to mature personally and professionally. Already a gifted performer, she devoted herself to writing lyrics that would more clearly reflect her experiences, emotions and spirit. The resulting effort, the album The Color of Silence, was co-written by Tiffany and reveals a depth of artistry not often found in the world of pop music. "This album is a reflection of my life over the past ten years. A lot has changed, and people are not aware that my music represents the pains and joys I've experienced as a musician, full-time mother and successful business woman.

Despite maintaining a rigorous live performance schedule, Tiffany also enjoys television work, and has made numerous recent appearances as a host on VH1.

  • My favorite redhead...
    author: Doe Deere

    ...aside from myself. ;) I've always been a fan - since the 80s - through 90s - to now!

  • Catchy eurodance
    author: Tuomo Sipola

Tiffany has a fitting voice for eurodance. The more traditional production also pleases my ear. Altough most of the songs are enjoyable (Fly, Artificial Girlfriend) there are a few during which I just want to skip to the next (Kamasutra, Everyone Get Down). My personal favourite is Na Na Na with its catchy lead and verse. Really listenable album.

  • YOU GO GIRL!
    author: Randy Quintana

Tiffant I will continue to show mad support for you and your projects......GREAT CD! I am determined to work with you one day soon. I love your vocals. All The Best.

WOW! What's there to say but what an awesome comeback from Tiffany. When I received this cd, I heard it like 3 times in a row while I was working. Tiffany's got an amazing voice and delivers this cd with such greatness, sexy, heavenly/angelic lyrics & vocals. I totaly enjoy listening to this cd. My personal favorites are both versions of Artificial Girlfriend, Fly, and Everyone Get Down. Keep the great work up Tiff!

  • Tiffany Just gets better with Time.
    author: Tony Rogers

Tiffany release Dust off & Dance is good if you like Dance Music. I have to be in a certain mood. This Cd fulfills my need when I am in that mood. My personal favorite is the album Color of Silence, which is phenomenal and didn't get the attention or credit it deserves. If you are a Tiffany fan from way back like myself, Dust off and Dance is a Must have. I my self am loking forward to another Color of Silence... Tiffany don't let me down!

  • Great dance CD, not just another same club beat CD!
    author: Carlos E Lizalde

I'm not a great fan of dance CD's, but this CD has change my view of them. Great way of making a dance CD not sounding ALL the same! Love the remake of I think we're alone. If you love dance music & don't want to hear the same old club beat music then you MUST get this #1 CD!!! Love it!!!!!!

  • Evolution
    author: Jim

Can I just say? Frickin' AWESOME. Tiffany just gets better and better. Tiffany is music evolution - from pop princess to ballad queen to rock chic and now dance eletronica. Tiffany is one of those rare artists that gets better as time goes by because each incarnation in her music and style is different and she's prooven it over and over. A stellar career and a great album. Keep in goin'... I just have 1 criticism - the cover version of I Think We're Alone Now was crappo, but the rest of the album is amazing.

  • Ottimo album dance

  • U Dropped Da Bomb On Me Gurl
    author: Michelle Sanford

I have followed Tiffany from the time she came out musically and have to say this cd kix ass it has alot of hard hitting hits and hope this one does well I have seen too many artists unfortunetly fall out of the limelight and people wind up forgetting them I wish someone would wake the public up and bring back the older kick ass hitters to show the newbies how things were back in the 80's and show people that the 80's artists are NOT dead and can still rock the scene like the good ole days cuz this is definetly a side of Tiff that I haven't seen in a long time this cd has won me over....

Absolutely fantastic! I`m glad I found the album. Tiff still has what it takes and it`s a shame she`s not that big in australia. Keep it up

  • author: J P Porada

This is an absolutely superb CD, the music in each song has a vibrant feel to them and you can't resist moving to the music. My absolute favourite song on this disc has to be 'fly' which really demonstrates Tiffany's powerful voice and is quite a beautiful track. I can't recommend this CD highly enough. Go Tiffany Go!!!!

  • AMAZING CD! Tiffany's A Definite Diva!
    author: Craig M. Hinch

Most people are familiar with Tiffany from the 1980's but not enough people are familiar with Tiffany of the 21st Century! From Pop Princess to Dance/Techno Queen, Tiffany is definitely worthy of the term DIVA. From the first track to the last, one is besieged by addictive dance beats and grooves. This CD is perfect for anyone who loves to dance or to get a groove on. You could play this entire CD in a club setting, and not need to move on to another artist. Highlights include "Ride It" which is sensual and sexy, and still perfect to dance to. "I Think We're Alone Now" is, of course, arguably Tiffany's most famous track but definitely updated for the new Millenium. Say good-bye to pretenders remixing this song, the actual artist has brought it back and it's fresh for a new generation. Those are just two of the songs in this fantastic collection that stand out, but overall, they're all essential to listen to, and the entire album quickly becomes a favorite to listen to over and over. I LOVE this CD! BUY it NOW!

  • Remembering A Moment
    author: Rick Bartlett

Years ago, in Columbus-Georgia, I was priviledged to see Tiffany in concert, accompanied by "New Kids on the Block". It was a wonderful escape away from the many problems I had as a child/teen and one I will never forget. Now, years later, I am able to share my past with my own 10-year old daughter who recently asked me a very profound question, "Dad, what was "A" happy moment when your were younger?" Thinking about this, I had a very difficult time recalling too many of those moments, except for the concert I attended. One of the best moments of the concert was when I was able to go backstage and stand next to Tiffany, with a friend, and have a small Polaroid picture taken with her. I'm sure Tiffany has taken thousands of pictures with many, many fans, but please understand... that picture helped when times were extremely dark. When my father left us, that photo - memory - was there. When my mother was diagnosed with cancer, that photo was at the hospital with us. And when the inevitable came and passed, I was surprised how comforting that old photo was years later. So, in short, please express to Tiffany that in an obscure way her music helped a teen battle many challenges with a simple, non-selfish moment of taking a picture with a kid who needed a little stardust. Now that teen is a strong, self-sufficient man and I wish to offer my thanks and humble appreciation to the person who got me through those times of doubt and even today a remembrance of a happy moment. Kind regards, Rick Bartlet "Proud Father and Loving Husband" rtbartlett@juno.com

  • Absolutely Amazing!!

Wow!! What a great CD!! Was so impressed and so glad I bought it. I love this CD and her voice is perfect. It is definitely in my top 10 favorites

  • FUN... FUN... FUN...
    author: Laura and Misty

Great old songs with a new twist! It is good to hear the tunes that bring back memories and start new ones.

  • It's Time For A Come Back!
    author: Jim

Everyone always thought she was the red headed step child! This time around, all the others will be the step children. Way To Go!

  • All I have to say is WOW!
    author: Larry Albert

This is the 2nd time I have bought the cd's. I this time bought two for other people who have had listened to her stuff through me, and seeing her in concert. She is awesome and she sings them live very well.

  • Right on!
    author: Jonathan

This CD takes me back to the days of freestyle and dance music where you could actually understand the words. This is a great CD to listen to on the way to the club or into the office to get in a better mood to waste the day away in the corporate world.

  • this is the music I love to hear
author: David A. Smith of Epic salon and day Spa

Tiff. your cd is wonderful I love this sound keep in coming

  • author: Bruce

i thought the cd was awesome!! i love it!! i cant stop playing it....

  • With Silence Tiff bared her soul, With Dance she breaks loose!
    author: Reynold D. Levaron

I think Madonna was listening in on the CD, evenif she will deny it all her life, her Confessions cd is a rip off this one. Tiffany really stretches herself, and reinvents herself. She may have been reading The 7 Habbits of Highly Effective People by Dr. Stephen Covey. The album's songwrittng is up lifting, specially when she get very auto biographical with FLY. I range Tiff as a songwritter with Tori Amos, who cares if they have a different style, they have the same depth! My favorites are Everybody Get Down Tonight, Be With U Tonight, and Sacrifice! Can't wait for the videos! Tiff come to Los Angeles! You are the BEST of your genre, Better than Janet Jackson, Debbie Gibson or Paula Abdul.

  • Tiffany is cool
    author: jethro dupree

this CD iz bangin' I love to eat mushrooms and float around the room riding the magic carpet of Miss Tiff Tiff's infectious jamz. Then when I come back to earth i either listen to my own CD or Kenny G. I still have a scar where I was hit with a stray glow stik while my friends and i were having an all nighter, featuring Tiffany! Buy this CD

  • I love it!
    author: R.B.

I love the album! My first Tiffany album and i love it! I always buy CD-singles but i had to make an exception this time! Great DANCE album! My fav tracks are Na Na Na, Ride It and Everyone Get Down. Best of luck from Poland!

  • So Much Fun!
    author: Geoff

Such a great, fun CD! I miss fun pop dance music like this. And Tiffany does a great job with a lot of different styles here but still coming up with a cohesive album. Current favorite is "Fly" - would love to see a single released with extended and alternate mixes. And how about the fantastic remixes of "I'm Not Sleeping" as bonus tracks!

  • Pure Pop Excellence
    author: Marie Hogan

This cd is a great example of what dance music should be

  • absolutely fantastic this is renee darwisch totally revamped
    author: paul jenkins

totally different from her 80s albums which were still great but more beats and more pazzaz 11/10 particularly the revamped i think were alone now

  • Great CD
    author: spykorn

I've always been a fan of Tiffany's since her first alblum. I'm glad to have completed my collection. I didn't know she had a new CD until I came across this web site.

  • Great Dance CD from Tiffany
    author: Jeffrey

Tiffany is not just a 80's pop queen. She has proven with this CD that when it comes to dance music she's up with the best.

  • IF YOU LOVE MADONNA CONFESSIONS...
    author: steven from scotland

This album for me has to be the best of 2005 - a fusion of trance dance /pop numbers all blend in a spectacular way. If you love Madonnas 'Confessions on a dancefloor' you are gonna love this dance gem. Let's hope 'Dust Off And Dance' gets a uk release aswell. I highly recommend this album to anyone - Tiffany fands old and new - can't stop playing it

  • I knew she had it in her!
    author: AJ

Dust Off And Dance is one of the better products from Tiffany in a long time. Although die-hards will cite her first album and "Dreams Never Die" as among her best, this one surely ranks up there as a fine product. Although a little drawn-out when it comes to the 5-minute plus songs, the album as a whole functions nicely. Thanks, Tiffany. Can't wait to see what you come out with next...

  • Excellent Dance Music
    author: Mauricio

Another great CD from Tiffany. It's full of awesome dance tunes and potential hit singles. If only radio would give it a chance. Thanks Tiff!

  • Awesome
    author: Micheal

This CD is great. Should be the anthem of the year, the world needs to open its eyes and get over the teen pop Tiffany and accept her as the talented, mature songwriter that she is. Good Job Tiffay-Keep singing for the fans!

  • Great Euro-pop style CD
    author: Carl

Bought this for my other half for Christmas (he was a huge Tiffany fan in the 80s). We really like it - especially "fly". The style is pure Europop/Eurodance and there are some choons on their ripe for the picking for the dancefloor. Would be great if some DJs picked up on these for 2006. Oh and thanks CD Baby for getting it to the UK so quickly - didn't quite make Christmas but I did only order on the 18th! Came the first day after the break. Cheers guys!!

  • Wow !
    author: Jarad

All I can say is buy the cd, You will bob your head to every song, Im seriously impressed with tiffany! WOW :) I can actually say I love every song...

  • great
    author: Dyane

Hi girl,, You rock!! love you new CD!! Keep it up.. see you on myspace.com xoxox Dyane

  • the voice returns!
    author: Darrell

Tiffany for many years has been an under rated talent, resigned to the bargain bin! There are the loyal fans following from the start and the ones hooked along the way, but they are not enough alone to get Tiffany back in the charts. That is the work of the record companies and the PR people! For god sake guys do your jobs properly!!! "The colour of silence" had the potential to become Tiffany's 'Jagged little Pill' or 'Left of the middle', "Dust off and Dance" if marketed right could be Tiffany's 'Believe'!? The songs could certainly do the trick, especially in the European and Australian markets! I personally have Fly on repeat, but there are plenty of potential singles here, but how about a UK tour or a DVD or even a rarities CD?? Keep Rockin' Tiff' xx

  • THE BEST OF HER BEST!
    author: joyblanch

Im one of tiff's avid fans for years. I have all of her albums. I therefore conclude that this is the best album she got! I hope that this will soon become the number 1 album. I love the song, artificial girfriend.Keep up the good work Tiff! I love you!

Lots of really funky songs! I've been listening to it constantly since it arrived. It's upbeat and fun without being hugely overprocessed or overdone. It's great!

  • Cool!!!!!
    author: Takashi from Japan

This dance album is so cool!!! I've been her fan since 1987. Your voice is so powerful on this album with the beats. I love every songs especially EVERYONE GET DOWN. So awesome!!! • OH MY GOD
    author: Mikey

This cd rocks.... I even have my mom hooked on it. Puts me in a great mood on the way to work every morning. The songs are amazing and catchy... not just a garage type recording.

  • Im sorry but i haven't received the Tiffany cd from you guys. I don't know if maybe the mailing address could be incorrect or the mail man could have put it in someone else's box. Im not the type of person to try and con you into sending me another cd. It would be hard to do since i haven't received one yet. I don't know what has happened. If you could email me back and let me know what you think that would be great. Thanks and have a great day. LillManZee@aol.com

  • Dance all night baby
    author: Joe Valenzuela

I have been a Tiffany fan since I was 10 years old...18 years now! Love this woman, love her voice. For years I've dreamt for her to record a dance album, and now it's finally here! She proves once again that she can sing ANY GENRE she tackles. This isn't her first fortay into electronica, her cover of NEW YEARS DAY w/ FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY still gives me chills, and she's done the dance genre justice. Now the music does sound rather dated, but I think that's it's charm. Kudos to Tiffany for creating a fun and energenic album. Great tracks, especially RIDE IT! I could listen to that track over and over! Other standouts are BE WITH YOU TONIGHT, I LOVE HOW YOU FEEL and SACRAFICE. Another fine release from the most under-rated singer to emerge from the 80s.

  • ride it!!
    author: lee

great cd.standout track is definitley ride it.brings tiffany bang into 2005!!if tiffanys people know whats good for them they should make this the 1st single with lots of mixes!!peter rauhoffer would do some excellent mixes on this track.this will be the song to get the cd noticed.

  • Tiffany proves she can do anything!
    author: NIk

Tiffany proves she can do anything! Unlike other artists Tiffany can always come back with a new and different sound with each project she creates. She's done pop, country, rock and now she's conquered dance! Her vocals are amazing as always even with dance music she still lets it be known she CAN and always has been to sing!

  • fantastic tune
    author: rolf

fantastic dance tune! i love it so much!!! a swiss tiffany and c. c. catch fan!

  • fantastic. tiffany at her finest.
    author: devinity

great songs. good beats. the remake of 'i think were alone now' is killer! i always adored tiffany..its a tragedy her songs dont get the attention they deserve. keep on it, tiff..

  • great album
    author: Eddie Westerhof

I'm a guy from holland, and i found out on the internet that tiffany had a new album out(and i'm a fan of her since the first hour) But unfortunately not availible in Europe, but i have managed to download the album from a downloadthing, Not the good way (I'M SORRY TIFFANY!!!!!!!), but the only way for me to get the music of tiffany, so this is a really nice album, and i love the musicbeats and everything, I hope the album will be released in Europe, and my country ofcourse, when it does, i want to have the original cd, and not only this album, but also the other albums, I hope Tiffany continues making music.

  • Hips will move!
    author: Steve

This artist fulfills her obligation to turn out an excellent dance product. Fresh dance beats here! If you like Cher, Madonna and Kylie, you will love this CD. Thank you Miss Tiff.

  • A day to remember
    author: Jeremy Gloff

I got this cd in the mail a day i will never forget. stupid me, i believe in fairy tales. i loved this guy 9 years ago, but we lost touch through the years.... i wrote a song about him 2 years ago, and we got back in touch one year ago. i sent him a plane ticket to move in with me...and he did. of course, the fairy tale had a disasterous ending, but... i got "dust off and dance" the day he arrived. i will never forget driving to the airport with the new tiffany cd. it was fabulous. "I WANT TO BE WITH YOU TONIGHT!" The cd is really gay-club sounding, but it's a good time. My personal favorite is "Ride It" -- the beat really slams and tiff sounds great. my favorite tiffany cds are still "dreams never die" and "color of silence" - but only because i tend to prefer emotionally complex lyrics---those albums have some really deep songs. but i applaud tiffany for continuing to evolve as an artist/writer. it is my pleasure, after all these many many years, to continue to enjoy and purchase her music. i wonder what she has in store for us next?!

  • Tiff's Back In The Groove! WOW!
    author: Van

As a gay guy, you'd think I would listen only to dance music, but I prefer classic rock and indie/alt-rock. However, I'll say without hesitation that I absolutely LOVE Tiffany's "Dust Off and Dance"! I've always been a Tiff fan since her first CD so I knew she had the amazing talent and voice to pull off a dance record. Boy does she ever! The CD is exhilarating fun all the way through, makes you feel so good and want to get up and dance alone or in a crowd. "Ride It" is an insanely catchy sing-a-long track, and "Be With U Tonite" and "Fly" are other highlights among the killer songs. No self-respecting gay club or queer Tiff fan should be without this cool disc!

  • LOVES IT
    author: tommy

Seriously....it's ashame that Tiffany's music doesn't get more attention. I hadn't given her much credit I have to say up until I heard her COLOR OF SILENCE cd and I thoroughly enjoyed it.....IF ONLY probably being my favorite from that cd. Then I heard DUST OFF AND DANCE and again i'm wondering why some of the songs aren't songs that I hear on the radio......they're fun tracks and it's hard for me to understand why she's not more recognized. RIDE IT & I LUV HOW U FEEL are probably my faves at the moment.....Tiffany is underappreciated I think.................the album is a good excuse to have fun and let go in the summertime. THUMBS UP......

  • author: djz

Excellent cd great dance tunes what a comeback .

  • didn't think you could beat your last record
    author: jeffrey pennigton

i think tiffany's last cd "the color of silence" is in my top 10 albums of all time. i just got this cd in the mail and already love it. i didn't think you could top the last but you might just have.....thank you for the music and can't wait to see you live again.

  • author: Mason

Tiffany's return, the follow up to 2000's The Color of Silence" is a dance club marathon. Tiffany's voice sounds hott and each song has radio friendly potential. In songs like Unofficial Girlfriend, Tiff proves she can still rock, while she sings "Your like an accident, I'm not wearing underwear".The 2005 version to her 1st no. 1 hit is up to date and has a nana na added. Over all this cd is great. B-

  • WOW...She is So Diverse! GO GIRL!!!!
    author: Richard Carnegie

At first listen, I wasn't sure it was up to the standards of music on the current dance scene. But I was wrong. She's combined pop with electronica to create extremely addictive beats and melodies! IT ROCKS! I am still a HUGE fan of her previous album, "Color of Silence" but this is just as good. It's totally different of course. It's been in my CD player non-stop, and I'm already attempting to sing along! Voice is as strong as ever. BUY IT! Thanks Tiffany!

  • awesome shes back!!!

  • very nice cd-i hope tiffany gets the cd sales on this

most of the songs on this cd are really good, especially her new version of "i think we're alone now" i hope she will come out with a dvd of all her songs---she would do good on that. best of luck. russ

  • author: tracey, sutton coldfield, uk

as a fan of tiffany's since "i think we're alone now" days, i was very unsure of her decision to release a dance album, but as soon as the cd came through the letterbox and i played it i realised it was an excellent decision!! my favourite track changes by the day!! please, please, please tiff can you perform the tracks live in the uk, along with a few golden oldies?!! we've missed you, welcome back tiff!

  • Totally hot!
    author: Ryan

DOD is such a great little dance record. I cannot usually listen through a WHOLE dance record. But this one is different. Fly and Everyone Get Down are my two tops faves though Fly is probably edging out the other one as my fave. Anyone who loves Tiff will love this as well. Just saw her at Pride and these songs sound even better live. Her voice is truly great! :-)

  • If U like the ANNIEMAL cd then this is gr8 also!
    author: FUNK musician TAKi76

    Gr8 stuff!

  • wow
    author: DJ

This eagerly anticipated dance effort was a project long thought never to materialize anywhere but in my vivid imagination. I am an enormous fan of dance/electronic music and an even bigger fan of Tiffany, so when the official word was given that she was recording a dance album, I thought that perhaps a higher power had finally taken pity on my lowly soul and thrown me a bone. ...Sometimes things are better left to daydreams. To clarify, most creative efforts rarely live up to the (i.e. my) anticipation of them so 'Dust Off and Dance' is not to be judged too harshly. Tiffany is a top-tier talent. Not only is she one of the most gifted, albeit underrated, vocalists in popular music but has proven herself to be a talented songwriter as well. Unfortunately, 'Dust Off and Dance' isn't entirely the best showcase for that. Though she produced pop/rock brilliance with Tim Feehan and Joe Brooks on her magnum opus 'The Color Of Silence', it seems gold may not be struck twice here. The trio knows a rock riff and a stirring ballad but producer Feehan seems out of his element in the world of dance. The club beats are largely throwbacks to the mid-90's eurodance craze ala LaBouche, Gina G. etc. Nothing bad per se, it's just that the tracks overall don't stack up against most of todays club hits from the production aspect. "Artificial Girlfriend", a phenomenal rock track she performed during her live shows turns up here with a generic bassline under a glorious guitar crunch that makes it feel rather awkward. While some definite uplifting joy is to be had with the bouncy "Be With U Tonight", the driving "Na Na Na" and the sexy "Ride It", they still felt a bit dated from the overabundance of layers and standard basslines. "Kama Sutra" is a pulsing duet with singer Dre Wilson that oozes sensuality. The problem? When it's your album, never let the guest sing most of the song. Tiffany's voice can wrap around any style with ease, but her velvety base tones were tailor-made for songs of an intimate, sensual nature. "Sacrifice" holds epic, trance-like possibilities but like almost every other songs biggest flaw, it just doesn't quite meet it's grand potential. The opening piano is simply gorgeous, but the schizo slamming of the keys mid-way completely disrupt it's hypnotic pace. Tiffany's voice is in fantastic form, as always, and continues to show how seamlessly this talent makes herself at home in any style of music. However, it would have been nice for her to finally give fans a track where those powerful pipes soar on a note, and what better place for a diva wail then a dance record? She's also showed that she creates an arrangement and chorus like few others. The problem isn't in the songwriting. Sure, it's not as deeply introspective as 'The Color of Silence' but it shouldn't be. She is not in the same place as she was five years ago. As with any truly good party dance album, there is oodles of sexual innuendo, love making it all better and hands in the air enthusiasm. There is no doubt every track would've benefited from the touch of a producer more adept in the genre. It is a valiant effort in making a fun, lighthearted record for the fans but not quite the glorious anthem it could and should be. All of that said, there is much infectious fun to be had with 'Dust Off and Dance' and it is an album that truly grows more appealing with every listen (it was a three star review when I started - of course Tiffany gets two by default). It also makes me eagerly await remixes as any clubber knows most classic anthems are the remixed versions anyway.

  • This album is great
    author: Tim

This CD shows a great change in style to The Color of Silence and it is fab! Showing that tiffany can take on any style and succeed this dance album is full of great songs. Personal favorite is Artificial Girlfriend which with its guitar driven backing I could imagine being a club hit! Also great to hear I think we're alone now reworked!

  • Fabulous

Fab Album! Rammed with dance tracks and a fantastic remake of "I Think We're Alone Now!

  • Get it, GIRL!
    author: Ernie R

I have been a Tiffany fan since I first heard "I think we're alone now" back in 1987. Here it is 18 years later and I think she still has a fabulous appeal. I enjoyed every song on this CD and it continues to grow on me. I hope the clubs will start playing some of these songs. I think the gay clubs will where I beiieve she has a great following. Here in the bay area, I hope our dance radio station, 92.7 Energy, picks this up and puts the word/music out that there so that everyone knows, Tiffany is BACK!

  • author: Brentt Weers

The CD is a great piece of work. I liked every song except track 3. I liked it because it's more into pop like the older stuff.

  • Fun, Energetic Tiffany!
    author: David-Detroit, Michigan

While the lyrics and the vocals do not show off Tiffany's amazing talents as well as her incredible "Color of Silence" cd, Dust off and Dance is a lot of fun. The bottom line-she accomplished what she set out to do, and that was to make a fun, energetic, and upbeat club disc. If this does not get played in the clubs, I will be totally shocked! With that said, be sure that you pick up "Color of Silence"-it is absolutely incredible, and should have won best album of the year for it's songwriting alone, let alone Tiffany's great vocals.

  • Hey Tiff, you're good at all music genres
    author: Andrew Nguyen

The thing that you can expect from Tiffany is her consistency to give it her all to all and any song she records. On this record...all songs are unique and all grow on you. Like the color of silence only she mixed it up with different dance beats. After listening to each song in it's entirety, each song is like a delicious entree to senses and I love it.

  • Awesome CD, keep up the work Tiff, glad to see your back!
    author: James

This Tiff CD is fabulous, her best work yet. Well worth the money and time. I have not taken it out of the CD player.

  • 1000 TIMES BETTER THAT YOU'D EVER IMAGINE!!
    author: Patryk Strait

This IS the consumate dance album that is is touted as being. Personal favorites are the ones that incorporate the ROCK style bass guitar including Ride It, Everyone Get Down and Artificial Girlfriend (original version). My other faves are the obvious future classic Fly and the sinewy and seductive Kama Sutra. I gotta say, I was not expecting much, becaise the clips on the website are low band previews - so when the CD was played and this BIG, very contemporary sound came out I was genuinely shocked. (So shocked that I had goose bumps running up & down my arms!) **One note though, PLEASE let someone like Peter Rauhoffer or Thunderpuss take some of these trax for a whirl. They would not be ignored like the awsome "Color Of Silence" tracks were then!

  • What a GREAT Dance C.D.
    author: John O'Sullivan

I have been a fan of Tiffany's for quite some time, since the 80's, and was kinda scared about the sound of this Dance c.d...Boy did I not need be...it is GREAT! The songs are not only great musically, but lyrically as well. Standout gems include; Ride It, Be With You Tonight, and even the techno mix of I Think Were Alone Now. Tiffany's voice is in top form on this c.d, as it was with The Color of Silence. I highly reccommend this c.d to any Tiffany fan, old and new.

  • urban dwellers, this is a great album for cruising streets on a summer nights.
    author: babyjaguar

i admit that i was not a fan of tiffany in the 80's, but now with this album. she is a dance diva! the album has great tracks like artifical girlfriend and remake of i think we are alone now. if you are into heavy techno, house and euro-styled dance mixes, this is great choice for summer 2005. get into your car and hit the streets and blast on track 11!

  • Tiff's Back Na Na Na
    author: Russ K

Tiffany is back and with a bang. I gave this cd 4 stars because to me not every track is a winner. High points of th cd are tracks 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11. I feel that tracks 3, 5, and 7 don't fit with the others. The new version of I Think We're alone now is great but I would have prefered that they redid the 1987 single version with the full lyrics. Other than that the album is great I have it on repeat in my car. I hope that Tiff is back for good:)

  • Best Yet!!
    author: Martin

This is Tiffany best Album Yet! Great Songs and Music. The tempo of the songs are great. very easy to dance to.

  • THIS IS THE CD TO HAVE !!!
author: Jeff H. from Southaven MS

What else is there to say about this album that hasn't already been stated. I just wanted to add that the other reviewers are NOT WRONG !!.. This new and outstanding release by Tiffany is nothing short of brillant. For those that haven't followed her all these years.. pick this one up.. you will love it. This is House/Euro/Electronic/trance music at it's best.. and it's brought to you by a woman whose voice is still just as amazing as it was 18 years ago !!... So, i highly suggest you pick up a copy or two. You won't want to take it out of your CD Player...and get out to the clubs and make sure your DJ's have a copy.. and for those who haven't followed her.. pick up The Color of Silence as well.. the most highly underrated CD of 2000.

  • I loved it!
    author: Jennifer

Having been a big Tiffany fan for years I was thrilled when I learned that she was recording again. I really enjoyed this disc and I loved Color of Silence as well.

  • Energetic & Fun
    author: Michael Roberts

I was a little worried when I read that this would be a dance CD. I absolutely loved "The Color Of Silence" and I was hoping for something more along those lines when she did a follow-up. I was very surprised & pleased with this CD though. It's very energetic and fun to listen to. It really puts me in a good mood. Tiffany's voice is strong and beautiful on all the tracks. Overall it's a great CD and I highly recommend it to everyone.

This is a great cd, each song is a gem. Dust off and dance is tiffany's finest album. This cd was well worth the five years since the Color of silents.

  • Mind Blowingly Awsome
    author: Alan Arnold

I was totally blown away when I put this CD in my radio and hit play. Tiffany has really turned things around and has gone into unchated waters with a Bang!!! The only thing that I found disapointing is that there was no booklet on the inside that had the songs, with words and more pictures of Tiffany, like her last CD color of Silence. But when it came to the music unbelievable I listened to it for 10 hours at work non stop. Way to go Tiff!!!! AWSOME JOB !!!! This is a must have CD for any TRUE Tiffany Fan... =D

  • the new music is amazing!!!!!
    author: paul jean-louis

i love it, i have been a big fan since day one, met her in 2003 at casino rama outside of toronto she did a show there she was great live and i can't wait to see her preform this album live thanx tiff!!! ps. Tiffany, did you like my cd?

  • Wow, Tiffany it's different & really good!!
    author: Andrea

I've listened to Tiffany since 1986. Every song she sings is amazing. I don't think Tiffany could ever sing bad even on her worse day. It's just not possible. She's a very talented singer/songwriter. Her voice & style is oustanding. This Cd is very different from all of her others. But of coarse it's good. It's Tiffany we're talking about!! It just goes to show us that Tiffany can sing any style of music & sound Teriffic. Deffinatle a must have Cd. Check it out & you won't be disappointed. And of coarse, buy ALL of her others too!!

  • The New DANCE DIVA: ~tiffany~
    author: Michael Paul

Tiffany takes on a whole new genre and has proven her ability to shine. Dust Off and Dance is the album that keeps you on your feet. This is the album to have! Just in time for summer. From the first song, "Be With U Tonite" to the last note on "Artificial Girlfriend Remix", you will be in a happy mood from start to finish. Great job for Tiffany who is no stranger to trying something new. Highlights of the album are: Be With U Tonite, Ride It, Everyone Get Down, Fly, I Love How You Feel, as well as a new take on an old favorite: I Think We're Alone Now. Great album. I highly suggest that you order this CD and just see for yourself how wonderful it is.

  • author: Jeff

Awesome CD, her best yet, seems to fit Deborah Gibson more. Will be a big hit in the gay community. You Go Gurl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A step forward in the dance genre
    author: Kenneth McNamara

Because The Color of Silence was such a beautiful cd, I was worried that a dance cd may be the wrong direction to go. I have no idea what I was thinking! Dust Off and Dance makes you want to, well DUST OFF AND DANCE! Way to go Tiffany, again settting the pathway for other artists to follow...think Madonna...dance album...coming out this year...Tiff has got it beat!

  • Unexpectedly Unbelievably Awesome!!!
    author: Jeffrey F. Adams

Honestly, I was a bit worried when I heard Tiffany's new CD would be a dance CD just because it's so easy to see artists do nothing interesting with it. but when I got the CD, I was extremely impressed! I LOVE Tiffany, so I am so excited that this CD impressed me so much! it's a GREAT dance CD & anyone that likes dance music should get at least one copy! I've already ordered more for friends! it's FABULOUS!!! WAY TO GO, TIFFANY!!!:-)

  • superb euro electric pop, perfect for the summer!!
    author: paul little

Fantastic album thankyou Tiffany,i love ride it that should really be a single for the summer as its hot and sexy!

  • The Best Album of the Summer By Far!!!!
    author: Kevin Batista

When I first heard that Tiffany was going to record a dance album, I was not sure what to think. I am a huge fan of her Color of Silence CD, and I thought that from then on she would be a great rock femme fatale, like Pat Benatar or Stevie Nicks. So when she announced her next project would be dance music, I was assuming she might go pop again. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!And I'm glad I was!! Dust Off and Dance is an awesome album (especially for the summertime). Songs like Be With You Tonite and Fly are just guilt-free pleasures, allowing anyone to easily get in the mood to get on the dance floor, or just dance around while they're driving in their cars. Other standouts include Kama Sutra(which blends Middle Eastern sounds with great R&B vocals by Dre Wilson), Artificial Girlfriend (which contains a great hard rock guitar hook against a heavy techno beat), and Sacrifice(which is a bit musically reminiscent of Coldplay). And although the dance beats are fun and infectious, please note that Tiffany does not disappoint in the vocal department; she belts it out like she always has. Tiffany also maintains a mature and sexy persona while singing, but not to the point where she's trying too hard to be shocking or sexy (Britney should take note). All in all, Dust Off And Dance is a great treat for anyone out there who's looking for upbeat music to kick off their summer season with!! Tiff's done it again!!

  • Tiff - I wanna be dancing with u tonight!
    author: Devin Tait

Following up 2000's magnificent, beautiful and emotional "Color of Silence" could not be an easy task, but Tiffany chose to have fun with it this time around, creating a true party CD that's fun to listen to and sing along with. Thankfully, even though it's a 'dance' CD, there are still several different styles of songs on here, from the pure club bliss of "Be With U Tonight" and "Fly," to edgier/rock sounding songs "Artificial Girlfriend" and "Everyone Get Down" and even some funky techno/electro like "I Luv How You Feel" and "Ride It." Tiffany co-wrote all the songs and it definitely sounds like a Tiffany CD even if it's a style she hasn't really done before.

  • Another string to her bow
    author: Karen

A different direction to her original material but not too distant as to upset the "old school". You won't be disappointed with the remix of I think we're alone now - original is a floor filler - so is this one!Fly and Be with U tonite are the top tracks - would do well in the clubs. If you're looking for a cool, funky cd to get you in the party spirit for a big night out - this is it.

  • It's different...but it's TIFFANY
    author: Bobby A

As soon as I received the cd. Opened it up and load it into my cd player. I play it all the time. Tiffany has come a long way since 1987 with "I Think We're Alone Now", "Could've Been", and "I Saw Him Standing There." It's been 18 years since Tiffany first came into our lives and she is still rocking strong. I enjoy all of her songs. And was awesome to think "I Think We're Alone Now" remixed to a newer dance version. Dust Off And Dance rocks!!!

  • TIFFANY - you rock!

The cd is incredible - I'm always amazed by this lady! Thanks for the cd, Tiffany (and CD Baby!) - and when are you coming back to Minneapolis?!

    author: Daria @ diner-bitch.com

I'm not a big dance music fan, but having seen Tiffany perform live and absolutely falling in love with her previous work, The Color of Silence, I had to pick this one up as soon as it was available. It's a fun album and the songs are catchy. If you like dance music, you should definitely give this a go - and even if you don't, Tiffany might give you a new appreciation for the genre!

  • absolutely fabulous!!!

excellent amazing dance album - a great come back for Tiffany who was last seen here in the UK on 'Hit Me Baby One More Time'. Excellent mix of pop and trance tracks - way to go Tiff!! Love It!! Highly Recommend ;-)

    author: Foxy

Former 80's queen Tiffany is back with a beat, and does not disappoint! This CD is sure to get you excited and ready for the clubs. Highlights include "Be With You Tonight," "Fly," a club remake of her classic "I Think We're Alone Now," and our clique's new summer jam "Everyone Get Down." If you're a dance music fan, you won't be disappointed!

  • A very fun, feel good album, makes you want to dance!

  • You go Tiffany!

Excellent dance CD!!! I have been awaiting a new Tiffany CD since her last one...been a fan of hers since she came out. I absolutely loved The Color of Silence EXCELLENT cd that I still play to this day.. I just received my Dust off and Dance cd and obviously very different which is GREAT- and you will be dancing your butts off to this club heavy CD!! GREAT work Tiffany!!! I love it and the song Ride It - is slammin and needs to get on KTU here in NY - the best dance station here!! I would love to hear her on the radio again- and with the pumping beats of this CD I am hoping her manangement promotes her heavily and gets this CD going..The one thing I was dissapointed with- no CD Booklet- no other pictures :(...Only a single insert that similar of CD Singles!!! A booklet with great Tiff pics would have been an added plus!! Other then that- GREAT CD!!!!!!!!!

  • Fabulous, the best dance cd I ever heard!!
    author: Juan Carlos

Im a fan from Argentina. I´ve got all Tiffany´s vinyls. I´ve listened all the tracks of her new CD and I´ve realised that Tiffany has a wonderful voice, the same voice than the 80´s. The songs are wonderful, specially "be with u tonight" and "fly". "Dust off and dance" reminds me "Believe" of Cher and "Freak of Nature" of Anastacia. I´m very happy of listen to Tiffany once again

  • The reincarnation of the new dance diva, Tiffany.
    author: Cains

Honestly, musically, the new album is definitely not a musical breakthrough for Tiffany like the last album “TCOS” which was a mature, dark and personal album that really showcased Tiffany’s vocal and songwriting talent. It’s also not intellectual challenging like TCOS BUT it is definitely more energetic and fun to listen to. It’s a very competent dance album. Actually to compare “Dust Off & Dance” with “TCOS, it’s a bit unfair as they’re both totally of different music genre respectively. How to compare a dance album to a rock album? Nevertheless, commercially, the new album got the “X” factor that TCOS lacked of, i.e. its commercial value and potentiality. It’s foreseeable that the new album will at least do well in the club scenes because almost every song is potential club hit. If I’m forced to compare it with an album by another artist, I’d say it’s there together with Madonna’s “Ray of Light”/“Music” album. Overall, it’s time to dust off your room (if you haven’t already) and dance! Let’s us all welcome the reincarnation of the new dance diva, Tiffany! AND tell that to the DJS in your area! (Musically: 3/5) (Commercially: 4/5) (Overall: 3.5/5)

  • Wow! I am diggin it!!

I popped the CD eagly anticipating a fun trip and it did not disapoint! • Wow! Great dance CD showcases Tiffany's Range
    author: Jeff H.

This CD is nothing short of amazing. There are some instantly catchy dance tunes on this CD (tracks #1, #6, and #8 come to mind immediately). I am really impressed at the range that Tiffany shows. She is excellent with ballads, rock music, country music, and now dance music. I think she is one of the most talented and underrated singers of our time!

  • wow!
    author: jonathan michaels

the fierce voice is back - and back to her dance roots that made her a household name...and took us all by storm back in the late 80s. gwen stefani meets anastacia...wow...she kicks some solid ass on this record, and will definitely have some hit singles in the clubs if people take a second to actually listen. also - buy her "color of silence" record - it is a rock effort that was hailed by critics accross the board and is a flawless record...

  • It's a great album, Tiffany give us her amazing voice and all her energy insid

    author: Mike James

Tiffany has done it again, crossing over into another genre with flawless vocals and great songs and lyrics. I didn't quite know what to expect but I'm impressed. Na Na Na, and Fly already sound like they could be club anthems and the new I Think We're Alone Now was even better than I thought it would be. Also I was suprised that the cd I got was a picture disc. Yay!

An outstanding performance by an artist that is very much underated..The Color of silence when it was released was aimed more toward the american market this time around it seems the music is more European orientated and Tiffany has pulled it off...This album with the right advertising behind it has a potential to be a smash hit. The songs Fly and Sacrifice both have Hit potential as well as the potential to be massive in clubs. For anyone who likes dance music i would certainly recommend checking out this CD
