notes

When Sir Elton John was writing the original score for “The Vampire Lestat” and wanted a few gospel singers to present the music, Adam McKnight was recommended as the person to call. Quickly dazzling him by recording 7 songs in 5 hours, Sir Elton was sold! From that initial encounter, Adam and the entire Voice of Atlanta choir were asked to perform on the Peachtree Road Album, and once again due to their quick study, work ethic and natural vibe have since toured around the world with Sir Elton John.
Adam McKnight and the Voice of Atlanta choir furnish positive, uplifting music that has motivated, energized and inspired constituencies from; CEO’s to sales teams and legions of gospel & secular fans. Voice of Atlanta was previously nominated for Atlanta Gospel Choice award and recognized for their excellence by being selected to the Grammy Entry list for Best Gospel Choir.
Adam McKnight and the Voice of Atlanta is a group of 25 seasoned, professional musicians who have honed their skills over the years, performing at a wide range of events, corporate functions and concerts, including opening for Grammy Winner CeCe Winans, backing John Barry for his Christmas Special DVD, performing for the national employees’ meeting of Microsoft Corporation, appearing on Jeff Foxworthy’s “Blue Collar TV”, a live broadcast on 99-X with the British pop group Razorlight, and more recently a special performance for a co-sponsored event for the new Gospel Music Channel.
Stirring, uplifting and upbeat, Adam McKnight and the Voice of Atlanta choir deliver a message that touches the soul.

Famous Gospel Songs - it's definitely not my all time favourite kind of music, but I like the artists and the way they do it - very good - it's my ONLY Gospel CD and I will keep it near my Elton John CDs - GREAT and many thanx for these songs
