notes
Find out what happens when seasoned entertainer and performer Matt Watroba turns his attention to classic country music. You don't have to dig far into the roots of American music to find the connection between country and folk. This recording is a celebration of that connection. Expect a lively set of acoustic renditions of some of our best loved country songs. Also included are four brand new original songs in the tradition. Get ready for bass slappin' and string poppin' covers of The Louvin Brothers, Hank Williams, The Delmore Brothers, Ernest Tubb, Woody Guthrie, Roger Miller, Webb Pierce, and many others. Great melodies, hot solos, and soaring vocal harmonies await you on this third CD release from Matt Watroba. Jukebox Folk envokes the spirit of American roots music at it's best!

Old time country brought to life!
author: Bill BrodyI had the opportunity to see Matt perform recently, at a breast cancer benefit dinner my wife put on. He did a great set! His voice and guitar playing are masterful. Matt politely helped out with announcing raffle winners during the dinner. He is a true gentleman and a gifted musician. I just got "Jukebox Folk" and I love it! My favorite track is "Hank & George & Ernest & Merle" - a tune that Matt penned himself. Buy this CD today - you won't be disappointed.
