REVIEWS:
"Wendel is the future." LA Music Scene
"They're a band that's meant to be savored..." Lockergnome.com
"These players blend together like a good gumbo" Music Connection
WORD OF MOUTH:
Ralph Alessi (Steve Coleman, Ravi Coltrane, Uri Caine)
"This is some of the freshest, most innovative, category-defying music that I have heard in a long time.
It's music to "listen to" (requiring your attention) as well as being listenable and palatable for most.
I truly love this music which I can say is music of today made by young, creative artists with a lot to say. "
Mike Cain (Jack DeJohnette, Me'Shell Ndege'Ocello, M-Base, Lil' Kim)
"Passion combined with intellect to form wonderful musical vibrations. Keep the flow coming!"
James Carney (Pianist/Composer, Winner of the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Composers Award and California Arts Council Trust Fund)
"Wendel is a passionate collective of high caliber, forward thinking musicians who dependably exude a pleasing blend of cathartic edginess and dynamic subtlety."

Wendel is awesome
author: Dave AppelbaumWendel - thank you for reminding me what a 'rated rookie' is. To Adam Benjamin - as a keyboardist you area true inspiration to me. Keep the awesome music making.
Brilliant and innovative music
author: jay_lpTalented, quite talented band....What's more is the chemistry that comes out on the record. You can feel the band working in sync with and off each other. Love the beats...beautifully created. The horns are sweet and soulful. I love listening to fresh music, and I'm so glad I picked this up. Brilliant stuff!
The blending of sound created a wonderful composition from start to finish.
author: Jai PaguiriganThis Cd kept me workng in a smooth manner. I was able to slowly beat my head and listen to the music. The way in which the musicians play together shows an extreme amount of care and love that is hard to find in other groups.
A great original band
author: KatieI love the refreshing sound that this band and this CD offers. Energetic, creative and often surprising...the sound is really hard to catagorize, but definately one of the most unique bands I have heard in a while. My favorite songs are: new song for quick recovery (I listen to this one over and over again), smooth jazz, touche, disappointment #2 and disappointment #1.
