INTRO
Wing Yee, born under the sign of Virgo, better known simply as Wing, is a singer/songwriter and guitarist based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Wing was born in Quangzhou, China, grew up in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada with his parents at a young age in search of a better life. And he can speak and sing fluently in English, French and Chinese.
INFLUENCES
Wing came from a non musical family and is a self taught vocalist/musician. He was intrigued by the Beatles and moved by Carlos Santana. Wing grew up listening to some of the most influential pop vocal groups from the 70’s to the present day such as the Bee Gees, Carpenters, Air Supply and Backstreet Boys. Wing is a baritone tenor and has a vocal range similar to the Beatles, Chris de Burgh, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, James Blunt and Michael Bublé.
EXPERIENCE
Wing has a 25 year career span performing as a solo artist in the bar/restaurant and hotel lounge/ski resort circuit throughout the province of Quebec. He also performed in Las Vegas at what were then the Mint and the Dunes hotels. And the most requested song from his repertoire is Chris de Burgh’s “The Lady in Red”.
REPERTOIRE
Wing has currently written and recorded 19 original songs and they’re in the style of Pop/Adult Contemporary/Light Rock.
AMBITION
Wing wants to define that music is a true universal language regardless of an artist’s nationality of origin. He is determined to proof to the world that there are Chinese artists out there who can indeed sing and write songs in English for all to enjoy! And Wing is now looking for a manager and a record label.

WING’S HEROES:
• In memory of Wing's ex-manager Ben Kaye (Kushnir) who died of cancer at the age of 68 on Saturday February 3, 2007.
Ben Kaye was the manager of numerous international and local artists such as: Corey Hart, Ginette Reno, Michel Pagliaro, Patsy Gallant and in 1982, he was also Wing's manager.
Ben signed Wing at his very first professional engagement performing at La Ronde Amusement Park in Montreal.
Meanwhile, Ben traveled to Japan with Celine Dion and Rene Angelil to participate in the Tokyo Yamaha Song Festival. Then a year later in 1983, Ben had registered Wing to go to the same festival.
But Ben Kaye had since continued on with Celine Dion's career, became her International Consultant while Wing moved on performing as a solo artist across the province of Quebec and they had since remained as good friends to this day.
Thank you so much Ben for your guidance, encouragement and all the joy you've brought to so many people's lives. We'll all miss you.

A great Travel Agencies Commercial Theme.
author: # 132The music has just the right "Island"feel to it.Good idea to start the song with a 1/2 Ch.The listener is drawn right in.Verse melody has good appeal,and the lift to Ch is strong.Ch hook is very appealing,and I feel this would make for a great Travel Agencies Commercial.Also sounds like it could be a Tropical drink add,,and even a Sun Tanning lotion,if there was one with this name.The commercial prospects are strong.I would tag the end of the Ch with "Island Breeze",to really put the lyric hook in the listener's mind.Thhe bridge idea is cool,but I would not have the 2nd bridge follow so close to the 1st......Also a key modulation in the last Ch.would give a strong dynamic lift to the Ch out section.A very fun and pleasurable song.........
