BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Hey there, I'm Adam Worrell. I was born and raised in southern Minnesota, U.S.A. I started playing the electric guitar when I turned 17 (I can't believe I waited that long....)Following high school, I went to college and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy with a concentration in logic. I then went back to college again to study computer programming. Then it all got interesting: Before graduating, I suddenly needed eyeglasses and began to lose my walking agility and endurance. When I started seeing that I could no longer walk normal like I used to (legs very shaky and weak, etc.), I sought out medical advice and assistance. The neurologist I sought out diagnosed me as having Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. From that moment on, every clock I encountered ticked just a little bit louder. The sense of urgency kicked in almost immediately. The motivation to fulfill my near lifelong dream of making a "real album" was like a lust in my body. I knew what I had to do and I knew what it was going to take. I couldn't wait until it was too late. I knew that there was no way I could achieve this lofty goal through the traditional means of trying the hard way of getting a record contract as, using the music played on radio stations in the U.S.A. as a guide, it was easy to see that talent scouts for the big record labels were only looking for musicians and bands that had little or no talent at all and that played music that sucks in the worst sense of the word. Eventually, I saved up enough money and purchased the state of the art equipment that my incredibly picky ears required and set up a recording studio in my house. The guitar that I continue to use, as I have for many years, the Yamaha Pacifica, was already my all-time favorite electric guitar, so that was also taken care of. I practiced endlessly until I could play the musical ideas I came up with to the degree of perfection that they called for. I recorded all the songs that came to mind and wanted on my debut album. I NEEDED them all to be on it. I accomplished my biggest, grandest, and wildest dream in life in just under a year and a half's time. I did all the production, mixing, sound engineering, composition, recording, pre-mastering, and playing completely by myself. It was hard, but totally worth it. All my albums future hence will have the same dedication put into them as well. I'll NEVER LET MY MUSIC DOWN.

A Truly Unique and Awesome Talent
author: Chad ParadaI recently purchased Adam Worrell's cd, Real Music and I was completely blown away by the talent of this young artist. He has a unique style you will not hear anywhere else. From the artistic blend of classical and metal influences to the title of the album and songs, Adam displays a tremendous ability to take the listener to places he has never been before. You can't go wrong with this cd and I can't wait for Adam's next effort.
Couldn't listen just once!
author: Brian PayneWhen I popped this CD in for the first time, I was amazed. I'm not a musician, but I enjoy music of all varieties and this was great. After listening to it all the way through, I just let it repeat so I could hear it all again, and somehow it was even better the second time!!
Adam Worrell Could Be The Next Great Electric Guitar Legend.
author: Wilson Frasier -- New Millenium GuitarReal Music by Adam Worrell is a truly remarkable album by a man who could be the next great guitar legend. Adam Worrell's unique style shines through in each of the album's 18 tracks. However, his signature song "The Technician", is THE shred song of the album and, in this writer's opinion -- one of the single best neo-classical tracks ever composed. Other shockingly talent-laden compositions like "Big Devastator" and the "Electric Guitar Quartet In E Major" (complete with 4 full length movements) showcase this extreme musician's wildly gifted nature in terms of melody, lead guitar orchestration, and rhythm guitar arrangements. All in all this one is a solid 11 on the Ricter Scale. Adam Worrell may just usher in a whole new era of neo-classical electric guitarists who are dedicated to their instruments and who are not afraid to admit that they practice with pride to boot. -- Wilson Frasier -- New Millenium Guitar
