ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
18 Wheels Of Justice is a 5 piece metal band from Boston Massachusetts. Founded in 2002 by Conor Anastasia and Todd Harris, the band draws on influences from many different musical styles to create an original sound... Fast, aggressive metal that based upon early American thrash, European metal, and American hardcore.

For several years 18 Wheels Of Justice played shows around New England, developing a reputation as a great live band. They recorded demos that would eventually lead to the release of "18 Wheels Of Justice" a self-titled 7 song EP in 2005. Recorded at Harris' studio, (DB Studios, Worcester MA) The EP received exellent reviews from local press, and several songs received airplay from both college and commercial radio across new england.

With the addition of guitarist Steve Abajolie and drummer Sam Pothier, 18 Wheels recorded and released "Deceive Them All" in August of 2007 through Elephantine Records. Recorded and produced entirely by the band at DB Studios, The 9 song full length album was well received by both local and national press. Several songs received airplay on many different college, commercial, and internet radio stations.

In 2009, 18 Wheels added vocalist Adam A. Sloan, bringing the sound to a new, punishing level. The band recorded their second full length release, "Execution", in 2010 at DB Studios. The album was independently released in January 2011, and plans are underway for a supporting tour.

This Massachusetts thrash outfit has been around for years, but from the sounds of this 11-track, hour-long disc, they're still moving forward, making the best music of their career. This album is packed with furious riffs, skull-pummeling drums, and growl-wretch vocals that, though they ostensibly owe a bit to the forefathers of the genre, manage to stand alone in their ferocity. This is a band that has mastered the four-minute, brutally to-the-point rock song, preferring to leave the fluff alone. Guitar solos are concise and blistering, and songs bleed seamlessly into the next, making this entire album play out as one unstoppable assault. The speed-freak "Idolatry" morphs into the comparably tame (but equally intense) "Open Sky," which revs up into the rumbling "Apocalypse," where they seek to "Burn down the world as it stands." And they sound like they mean it.
