ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
4Sight, govt. name Lance North, was born in Cleveland, OH. and, at the age of 13, got ahold of his first rap tape: NWA's Strait Outta Compton. He quickly gained a few friends who shared the same love for the music and they formed a group called K.E.D. (Keepin 'Em Dope) when Ked's tennis shoes were in high fashion, rapping under the name "The Magician". They made tapes and rapped at parties but once school was over, the band fell apart.

Still realizing he had skills, 4Sight continued making demos of his music and creating beats for himself, entering local talent shows and competitions. In 2000, however, 4Sight was incarcerated for two years. He deliberated the decision to stop rapping but something drove him to keep going...the birth of his first son.

In 2004, after careful planning, 4Sight was signed to Devastation Records as an artist and producer.

4Sight: "I named my album 'Triumph Ova Tragedy' because through everybody's everyday life we look to do something that betters our lives, and this album did that for me"

Now 4Sight is bringing the people up close and personal to his feelings about relationships, the streets, and husslin' with his new album 'Triumph Ova Tragedy'.
