ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album, along with another double album, marks the premier recording in my own studio . After recording both SPACE and EM I wanted to use the studio in a more creative way: by writing and recording music as a developmental process rather than recording everything live. The way IN A SILENT WAY, BITCHES BREW and GETTING UP WITH IT by Miles Davies were put together inspired me to create this a album and may others that followed. I think when listening to the two center pieces TALES OF A SIDE DOOR GUNNER and ASSIGNED PATTERNS you will find they both convey the images of flight from a helicopters in the first piece to jet planes on the latter.
