Miguel de Fuenllana (Navalcarnero, Madrid, c. 1500 - Valladolid, 1579) was a Spanish vihuelist and composer of the Renaissance. He came from the municipality of Fuenllana, in the province of Ciudad Real. Blind from birth, he composed music dedicated to Philip II of Spain. served as lutenist atthe Spanish court.

Francesco Canova da Milano (Francesco da Milano, also known as Il divino, Francseco da Parigi, etc.) (18 August 1497 – 2 January 1543) was an Italian lutenist and composer. He was born in Monza, near Milan, and worked for the papal court for almost all of his career. Francesco was heralded throughout Europe as the foremost lute composer of his time. More of his music is preserved than of any other lutenist of the period, and his work continued to influence composers for more than a century after his death.

Hans Judenkönig (also Judenkunig or Judenkünig) (c. 1450 – March 4, 1526) was a German lutenist of the Renaissance. He was born in Schwäbisch Gmünd and died in Vienna.
He worked as a lutenist in the University of Vienna and was best known for his two lute books written for the self-teaching of a lay audience.

Melchior Neusidler - lutenist and composer from Germany.

Andrei Krylov studied guitar in Music School and University in St.Petersburg, Russia. In 1980's-90's he worked as a classical guitar teacher and performer for the State Concert Company #Lenconcert#. He has played with the St. Petersburg Chamber Orchestra (conductor, Eduard Gustin) and the "Old Petersburg " music theatre.
He has given recitals in Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, USA, and Canada. Andrei has recorded and performed for Russian Broadcast Radio and TV and a copy of his performance was published by TV St.Petersburg. In Canada, he has performed at various festivals, including Latin Extravaganza, Kitchener's Salsa In The Square, Toronto's Weston Festival, Hamilton's Concession Street and several multicultural festivals, played concerts in Niagara, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec city and other places.
Some of his performances in Canada were televised; by ONTv, by Roger's Cable and the others by COGECO and CHIN TV. Also his music played on CKTB, CHIN 97,9, Radio Katyusha, Baltika FM, Theos, Peterburg TV5 and other channels.
Andrei has been compared favorably to many great guitar players, but has a style uniquely of his own.
