ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Heavy Metal's most proficient practitioner of controversy and political incorrectness exhibits no trace of appeasement on his fifth release. With The Godless, The Godforsaken and the God Damned, Sidney Allen Johnson's Babylon Mystery Orchestra skewers the fantasies and fallacies of the unicorn infested world of modern America...and a good time is had by all!

From the thunderous opening of Catspaw, with its' furious chastisement of celebrities and their naive political causes, to the closing doom laden finale of The Twelfth Imam, the easily offended will find much to torture and torment them on display here. Hate crimes, abortion rights, NASA conspiracies and the cult of Che Guevara are just a few of the topics that Johnson injects his venom into on one of Babylon Mystery Orchestra's most aggressive releases. Johnson has also taken notice of the American political landscape and the turn away from individual liberty in favor of a ruinous collectivist mentality. His displeasure in this turn of events proves profoundly inspiring. And did we mention he has a song about UFO's? As with all things dealt with by Babylon Mystery Orchestra, you won't want to miss SAJ's unusual perspective on who they are...or where they came from.

The unique, and often difficult to pin down, style of Babylon Mystery Orchestra has made it one of the most interesting artists in the current music scene. The Gothic Hard Rock/Heavy Metal artist backs his messages with a considerable amount of firepower. It's a mixture of powerful lyrics to powerful rhythmic metal that is simply...powerful! Love it or hate it, Babylon Mystery Orchestra isn't going away. The Godless, The Godforsaken and the God Damned shows that Babylon Mystery Orchestra is absolutely on fire!

As with every Babylon Mystery Orchestra release, the packaging is spectacular. A 32 page full color booklet contains all the lyrics plus the additional commentary that makes a Babylon Mystery Orchestra recording a complete listening experience.

This collection of songs is fueled by defiant and angry messages that cover a diverse range of issues.
