Blue Sky

by Blue Sky

An eclectic mixture of acoustic folk, blues, and genre-defying bits in between, this debut album from a Philadelphia duo features guitars and harmonica supporting lyrics that are thoughtful and witty, serious and carefree by turns.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From cautionary tales of love, modern technology and John Barleycorn to good old-fashioned protest songs and humorous takes on chiropractor visits and mistaking coffee for breakfast, you'll find it all in this collection of soon-to-be favorites. George Jordan and Karen Dunn are singer-songwriters based in the Philadelphia, PA area. They have been playing together since 2007 and each have a long history of music-making and songwriting. On this compilation of 11 original songs and one adaptation of a song by friends of George, their two guitars and George's harmonica are supplemented by the musical talents of mulit-instrumentalist Alfred Goodrich, who also recorded and produced the album at Silvertone Studios in Ardmore, PA.
