As a teen in the '80s, Bylli Crayone was all about the music, dance and colorful fashion of the decade.
Today, Bylli Crayone brings it all back to life with his latest music release PRESTO. Teaming up with '80s icons NU SHOOZ known for their huge international 1986 hit "I Can't Wait" and Mix Master Ice of U.T.F.O. best known for thier 1984 hit "Roxanne, Roxanne". Together, these artists brought something new to the table for fans of the '80s music genre.
John Smith & Valerie Day of NU SHOOZ presented Bylli Crayone with the song "GIVE IT 2 ME 1 TIME". Originally recorded back in the early '90s but was never released. Crayone loved the sound and style of it, so while Crayone wrote new lyrics for the verses, Valerie Day sang the hook while John Smith revised & produced the original track. To give the song a more modern feel, it was remixed by Joseph Barone for todays radio air-play.
Mix Master Ice of the legendary rap group U.T.F.O. is also on board for this release. this time, instead of being the group DJ, he brought his lyrical skill to the collaboration we call "Talk Is Cheap". This time around Crayone sings the hook while Mix Master Ice raps out the verses. This song was also produced by Joseph Barone and remixed by The Phlexican.
The release also includes the Top Ten dance single "Waste of Time". Written by Crayone back in 1993 but not recorded until 2010. Produced and remixed by Keith Kemper (B2K, Village People, Amber). The song features a lyrical style that brings you back to the late 80s freestyle genre while the music production sounds like something out of the Lady Gaga handbook. There is also a D3Y remix for fans of the Ibiza nightlife.
The song "Boy Crush" features L.A. based latin pop duo Daluzion featuring Daniel Gomez and Luis Uribe. The song was written by Bylli Crayone & Luis Uribe. The original album version can be found on Crayone "Kalidascope" album while the hot remixes are right here on Presto! Crayone is known for the shock feature and on this song he is letting the world know he's got a crush on a boy. Hence - Boy Crush.
The release includes one last song also pushing the envelope is a fun danc track called "He Winked At me" about a guy winkin at Crayone giving him the sign of interest. Take it or leave it, Crayone is deffinatly a well rounded artist from writing, producing, performing and making noise. This is one release that will go down in the Crayone catalog as a dream come true.
