Great Rock CD!
Great Rock is the only way I can describe Out Of The Sun! This CD contains so many different musical elements that are very impressive! I am huge fan of Power Metal and I can definitely hear some on this CD. I also love rock that has a great groove going and this CD is full of great grooves! I am a big fan of Angus Clark, and in an age where so many guitarists are obsessed with technical shredding, it is a relief to hear some great rock solos! This is why the song Forgotten Son is a personal highlight for me. All in all Out Of The Sun is a great and fun CD to listen to!

On a scale from 1-10: Awesome.
Remember when rock music wasn't done by a bunch of pussy emo guys crying about their parents or their girlfriends? So do the guys in DareDevil Squadron. If you are looking for an album of straight up rock then you need to click "Buy Now" and download these 10 tracks. This is the type of record that made me want to be a rockstar in the first place (to score chicks, duh!).

The first song ("Out of the Sun") has pretty much everything you need in a hard rock anthem; cool dual-guitar intro, harmonized solo, big gang background vocal stabs and tons of attitude. From there, the songs range from sultry blues-rock to straight up in-your-face metal (think Iron Maiden). "Back Lounge" and "Streets of Montmartre" bring to mind the party lifestyle that made every young guy want to throw on a guitar and practice his stage moves in the mirror. "Lillian" could definitely be a hit single on classic-rock stations that also play new music.

I highly recommend this album. All of the songs are great, and the band is top notch. The lead vocals are superb, and the pop sensibilities of the vocal harmonies make even the rawest songs something you could listen to with your mom in the room without her wishing you were never born. Awesome guitars, too!

Hard Rock That Rocks Hard!!!
This album is fun and fantastic. It is full of catchy tunes and easy to listen to chord progressions while maintaining an authenticity similar to classic rockin' bands like Iron Maiden. The lead singer, Andrew Ross, has an incredible range and vocal control and depth that doesn't let the listener turn away. I immediately started dancing to tunes like "In the Back Lounge." Songs like that and "Out of the Sun," the title song, are heading toward becoming head banging classics. In songs like "Lilian," the band shows its softer side, while still staying within their metal genre. The musicians are all excellent. The CD is brimming with some of the best musical talent I've heard in years. The beats are clear, the guitar riffs are unbelievable, and the fun starts from note one and never stops.
This is a band with a bright future and the promise of major radio play. Can't wait to see them live!

Rock at its best!!
I am a big fan of TSO and Angus Clark. This CD not only ROCKS but has a great groove to it. The sound takes me back to the kind of rock music I listened to as a teen. The songs Lilian and Out of the Son were instantly favorites. The sound is pure and the vocals are solid. Andrew Ross is awesome as lead vocals. I cannot say enough, this is a great CD.

Daredevil Squadron is going to blow your mind!
I had high expectations for this album and it was all that I personally had hoped for and more. What a powerful group of musicians and vocalists this group brings to the table! It is hard for the senses to know what to focus on most, but then that is what I like most about this group. I love the song Lillian, which is odd, as I normally do not go much for ballad-ish tunes, or the softer side of rock. But, that song just reached out and grabbed my attention. This CD has gotten much play on my system since the download last night. I suggest to Angus Clark fans out there to prepared to be blown away by the solos. Ditto for Andrew Ross fans and Chris Altenhoff, as always is playing killer bass.
