ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
When sweat comes to funk, one thinks of ecstatic dancing to pulsating beats produced by weird and worn-out looking guys...
Watching Diazpora, a handsome-looking funk collective around the four masterminds of David Nesselhauf, Hans Christian Stephan, Lucas Kochbeck and Legbo, you need to re-think this cliché. This band's dedication to funk music with all its energy and weirdness finds its reflection in extremely raw and intense live shows, turning little clubs into pressure cookers of funk.
This album is the result of the efforts to record the enormous energy of this group into longplayer format. Surely, this is only the beginning. I am eager to see where this "no school" Hamburg funk collective is going to lead us!
