Acoustic Guitar Christmas

by Doug Edgell

Think Vince Guaraldi (Charlie Brown) playing the acoustic guitar! Beautiful arrangements of holiday favorites performed on acoustic and classical guitars. Blending jazz, blues, and classical elements to create a "new take" on these classic tunes!

Album Notes
For years fans have been telling me they wanted me to record a Christmas "guitar" CD. So I've very proud to say... it's finally here! I've taken a loose, fun approach to writing these arrangements. I'd start vamping on the changes of one of my favorite holiday tunes, and then see how I could add some things and re-arrange some things to make it unique. I used a variety of alternate tunings and a partial capo to achieve different sounds.

I had a great time creating this music. I hope you have fun listening to it too!
