A Wonderful CD!
I greatly enjoy many different types of music so when I purchased this album, I was looking forward to hearing something special. And I was correct: I was completely caught up in the music and the pleasant feelings it brought forth.

The selections chosen on this album were a nice variety of tunes with a lush band (of at least eight to ten different musical instruments that I can discern) accompanying the violinist. Each track is different and distinct from one another, with different instruments taking the lead or sharing the melody back and forth with the violinist. The wide range of instrumentation in the background is also unique and interesting, but adding to the full sound of the music being played gives it a rich texture that is very pleasing to the ear.

I must highlight the violinist for a moment, as Violin George has particularly impressed me with his skillful solos, perfectly complimenting the other instruments (like the flautist in particular) in the band and the skillful segues from one passage to the next. While the violin solos are a delight, many other band members shine as they take their turn in the spotlight showing their talents as well.

The sound is mixed very well, and the clarity of each instrument comes through, with the overall sound very professional. This is an excellent mix of musicians, who, in my opinion, sound as if they have been rehearsing and playing together for years prior to making this album. They are in perfect sync with one another at just the right moments, effortlessly knowing just how to demonstrate their talent while choosing music that highlights it. This is not just a professional band; they are artists at whatever style they choose, they are clearly having fun with it while excelling in its musical execution.

Whether it is a relaxing tune or something grander, the album overall presents a sense of calmness and serenity. It is very pleasing to the ear and it soothes you into a state of relaxation. I look forward to any other material they release in the future.
