Album Notes
This album was inspired by the artist's father's death from Parkinson's disease in 1997. Henson wanted to do something to help other sufferers and their loved ones; so half the income this project generates will be divided between The Michael J. Fox Foundation through Team Fox, and the Well Spouse Association, which provides support to caregivers of the chronically ill.

Although it has a charitable aim, Henson wanted to produce an album that would stand on its own merits. The outcome reflects some of the styles that have influenced him as a singer/songwriter, from easy-going guitar instrumentals (tracks 1 and 12) to a Van Morrison-inspired, Hammond-and-sax arrangement (track 2), to string-and-reed ballads (tracks 3 and 7), and the late-Beatlesque sound of Poor Lonely Joan.
