Speckled

by Harrison Wargo

10 songs, each with their own respective place in their home, but none the similar. Recorded over the steamy summer of 2009 in my basement, it is, in a sense, a diary of music, profiling encounters, opinions, and human relations up to that point in life.
Genre: Pop: Chamber Pop

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Speckled" is a truly speckled album. It twists and turns through different styles and genres interleaving them like a tapestry on a cool brisk sunny day in the middle of the Ozarks just hoping your dog will come home before supper. Yeah, its like that. I recorded almost all the instruments myself and I spent a lot of time tweaking and using my very best measuring cups to make sure everything would be up to par (as us golfers say) to the traditional standards. I hope you all enjoy it very much. In a sense, it is a musical diary of my summer in 2009, and the events leading up to that. There is a story. You can build your own around it. You can twist it and turn it into your own album. This can be yours. There are no limits. Take care.

refreshing
This album is very refreshing. Being a fan of The Morning Light since the beginning I at first was sad to see them end but now very happy to see the most talented member, making 100 times BETTER music on his own! I can honestly say this is one of my favorite albums of all time. The record is perfectly pieced together in the order it is presented on here. All the songs are different, none sounding the same, and all are beautifully written. I am excited to see what this talented young man is going in life. Thank you for continuing to write beautiful songs Harrison.

Take the time to really listen
because if you really do, you'll hear good advice, happiness, sadness, laughter, brightness, darkness. You'll hear the truth. And you really won't regret it.
