ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This release is a departure from my previous work which was more structured and conservative. Tapping, hammering and thumbing techniques are used for the first time along with more expressive strumming. There is a wide variety of styles from straightforward neo-classical compostions to on the spot improvisations. There are no overdubs or edits. Each take is completely recorded in one pass. While there are plenty of mistakes I feel that it's the best way to capture the feeling of each piece. Unlike earlier releases I used a variety of guitars matching the guitar used with the desired feel and sound.
