ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Upon moving to Philadelphia, I was fortunate enough to meet several great people, who
just happen to be great musicians. We met at the local jams and were quickly drawn to
the same groove. Over the years, we gigged together frequently and it was always a
pleasure.

Shortly after leaving Philadelphia for my new home of Houston, I felt the need to do
something special. In September 2008, I called upon these same great people, ;), to help
me share, with you, our interpretations of some blues standards along with an original
tune, “What Do You Say?”.

Great Blues Album!
The musicianship and playing is superb, but what makes this album so great its unique personality. You're hearing rock solid meat and potatoes blues, with some cool quirky twists reminiscent of Zappa. My personal favorites are "If You's a Viper" and "Oreo Cooke Blues" and the original "What do you say". This is the type of record that only comes from guys who have spent many long nights in dingy clubs playing their asses off and paying theirs dues.

Authentic Blues
"Lenny and his band give an outstanding performance of the blues. His choice of tunes flow from one to the next, getting better and better. The production is as authentic as you can get. Musicianship is first class.
If you like the blues then you can't miss with this one. "The Thrill isn't Gone" They give it hell"!!!
