ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Lovanova is a instrumental Lounge Prog Rock group driven by Paul "Evil" Kneevers' Hammond Organ.

Paul Kneevers is a veteran musician/producer from Milwaukee with album credits including Killdozer, The Electric Hellfire Club, The Probers The Lackloves and many more. He is joined on bass guitar by Jeff Hamilton (www.myspace.com/hamtone), musician and producer who currently performs w/ The Violent Femmes and Beatallica. Guitarist Joey Carini (www.myspace.com/joeycarini ) lends his angular textures as heard w/ his work with Fever Marlene, Willy Porter, Boxcar and others. Providing rock-solid kit-work is drummer Dave Schoepke (www.myspace.com/schoepke). Dave currently peforms w/ Willy Porter, Natalia Zukermann and up and comin Afro-Beat ensemble Tristan Royalty Squad.

The Cd also features special guests. Brian Ritchie bassist/multi-instrumentalist and founder of legendary alt group The Violent Femmes lends his Shakuhachi talents on the song 'Monkey Bath'. Saxophone extraordinaire, Aaron Gardner took time away form his Milwaukee Symphony gig and numerous local Jazz projects to blow some wicked brass on 'Dirty Fingers'. Jason Loveall violinist of Milwaukee legendary prog trio The Danglers; saws the cat-guts on 'Day 4 of 9' and 'Fight Club'. Singer Tazardee Fortunado adds eerie vocal choir clusters to 'Day 4 of 9'.

Enjoy the sonic treats!
