Album Notes
The genre of Trance is an acquired taste, but once you are hooked, you are hooked. The Mantra Bros have combined cutting edge electronic rhythms; with "live" instrumental sounds of the Far East. They have taken the techniques of the ancient masters, and incorporated them into something very special. As you listen, you will get a chill in your spine, and the subconscious mind will take over. They temporarily turn your brain to "mush,” transport you to a different dimension and then back again. By special request of the Mantra Bros they wanted all their fans during these tough economic times to be able to enjoy 60 minutes of escape for a very small price of admission!

Love This Group
I have not bought this album yet, am still listening to Trance of The Cobra, Dance of The Tiger. When I do buy it, I will buy it on CD Baby (they are $4.00 less than iTunes). It seems that the Mantra Bros wanted it to be $5.98 on both CD Baby and iTunes, but iTunes is set up for $9.99 on a 60 minutes album, even if it has two tracks. I listend to a portion of the Trance of the Cobra Song on YouTube, and I really liked it. I am very happy to have stumbled onto this group, and hope they are very successful, and garner the support of the Trance Community. They also have a website (why info instead of com?). Anyways, they mention that they are giving a portion of the proceeds from their album to Nourish The Children, which I thought was very nice).

Mantra Bros
After reading Kathy Rogers review, I subconsciously or consciously spelled listened the same as her. She may have intentionally wanted to spell it that way, but I did not. Thus the reason for this follows up. I agree with everything previously stated, and I have in fact "listened" to this particular album at least a dozen times. Whenever I want to tune out the world, and not think about the day’s trials and tribulations, I simply pop on some headphones, and listen to the Mantra Bros. Incidentally, I am not making fun of Ms. Rogers spelling, just correcting my own review.

Review Correction
I inadvertently typed $1.99 instead of $5.98. I could have saved $4.00 downloading it from CD Baby instead of iTunes, which is still alot of bucks, but I am still happy with the album. It is worth $9.99, but I should have checked with CD Baby first. My mistake. I will in the future. :-) Still gets 5 stars for the album, and I give myself 1 star for not shopping around!

Beyond This Universe, Beyond The Conscious Mind!
I bought this album on iTunes for $9.99. To see it on CD Baby for $1.99, was a bit upsetting, but when I read that the Mantra Bros wanted the price to be $1.99, I understand what happened. iTunes will not offer a 60 minute CD for $1.99, but CD Baby honored the Mantra Bros request. If you are reading this review. Buy this album. In the world of trance, it is priceless, and for $1.99 it is a true gift from the Mantra Bros. You are saving $8.00 buying it at CD Baby, and believe me it is worth every penny of the $9.99 at iTunes if you are into Trance. Here is the review I wrote on iTunes.

This is the most amazing album I have heard in a very long time. If you are a Trance aficionado This defines what Trance should be, and now can be. The Mantra Bros have combined the electronic medium with old world mastery of the ancient instruments of the East. They created a hard driving beat combined with intricate patterns that literally capture your subconscious mind, reduce stress, and eliminate any negative thoughts you might be experiencing at that moment. The arrangements, rhythms and melody line literally put you into a trance! Every time I listen to each track, I hear something new. I listen to this album before I go to sleep, and it amazingly put me into a calm state. Don't ask me why or how, but it did. In the world of trance, this can truly be called a work of art. Who are the Mantra Bros, when are they going to be playing, and how to I get tickets. Wow! There are two tracks on this album, each track is 30 minutes in duration, which is amazing unto itself. They allowed themselves plenty of time to arrange their magic, manipulate you mind, and take you on a journey that you never expected. If you like Buddha Bar (which I truly enjoy), this is the next level of consciousness, or should I say unconsciousness. I can't get enough of these guys, and hope they make more track available!

Chillin, Chillin, Chillin
I thought the reviews on iTunes, YouTube and CD Baby were exaggerated, but they were not. With a good pair of headphones the Mantra Bros truly get inside your head. I have listend to this album at least a dozen times and hear new sounds each time. It is truly escapism at its best. This album goes for $9.99 on iTunes. The fact that the Mantra Bros made the entile 60 minute album available on CD Baby for $1.98 is amazing and worth every penny. If you are a CD Baby fan, this is a great deal. Take advantage of it. You will not be disappointed. I was not.
