Soundtrack for Life
I have been playing this CD repeatedly and am doing so as I write this. It provides a wonderful accompaniment to my routine as I prepare for each day, as well as when I return home from a stressful and hectic day on the job. I can see this being one of my more frequently played CDs for a long time to come.

"Good Listening"
Enjoyed Welsh's music as expressed by the Angeli Duo who I have heard in concert, but was engrossed in Serenade with the bassoon of Sweeny. I hope to hear more from composer Michael Welsh.

Two Angels Moving Upward
The more I listen to Michael Welsh's SOME SECRET VELOCITY, an orchestral piece for string orchestra, the more I
love it. The music is hauntingly beautiful. My favorite movement of the three movements is the third; the violin duet is exquisite and the finale is sublime.
The second work entitled SERENADE is equally impressive. The bassoon solo is wonderful. The piece reminds me a little of Strauss' Till Eugenspiel (even though Strauss uses the clarinet for his character).
I recommend this CD. It gave me much peace and joy listening to it.

A wonder of emotions
The movements in Some Secret Velocity took me on a wondeful journey of emotions. Michael Welsh is an accomplished composer & storyteller. I am so glad to have such rich sweeping music.
