The website for the album, THEN AND NOW, is PietroRock.com. The web site includes audio excerpts from each track, epigraphs and lyrics for all 22 songs, brief stories behind the making of each song, photos and bios. The 2-disc album includes a 16-page booklet containing epigraphs and lyrics for all 22 songs plus photos. THEN AND NOW is a collection of songs written between 1970 and 2008. The album's first song, All I Want, is a father-son collaboration: music by Anthony Pietro and words by his dad, Richard Pietro. All other songs (words and music) were composed by Richard Pietro. The arrangements and instrumentation were the result of a collaborative effort between Richard Pietro (vocals, keyboard, and synthesizer), Anthony Pietro (electric and acoustic guitars and mandolin), John Gregg (drums and percussion), Keith McKelley (saxophone), and Jon Guggenheim (studio engineer). Many, many thanks to all those who contributed their art, craft, insight, and encouragement to this effort. And a special thanks to Anthony, without whom, this project would never have come out of the basement and into the lights of C-Town Sound.
