Dark Clad Company

by The Scarlet Furies

Unforgettable melodies and sultry, darkly rich, and haunting vocals. Deep rootsy layers, rare acoustic textures, soaring four part harmonies, and vintage sensabilities all make this is a unique debut.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The debut EP by fast rising alt folk standouts, The Scarlet Furies. Produced by Rusty Anderson, guitarist for Paul McCartney and mastered by three time Grammy winner Gavin Lurssen (Alison Krauss, T Bone Burnette), this collection marries powerful melodies, dark and longing lyrical themes, and rootsy folk and rock textures. Young singer-songwriter Raleigh Holmes provides the haunting vocals. She's cocooned by the four-part harmonies and rich acoustic instrumentation of her bandmates. This album showcases a unique new voice in the Alt Folk and Alt Country scenes.

Such a different sound in this day of same ole same ole. Kudos to Rusty Anderson for seeing the amazing talent in this band! Love it!
This is a great acoustic/roots group with powerful song-writing. I particularly love Young Goodman Brown and All or Nothing. These tunes really get stuck in your head.

over & over
When I 1st got this cd I had to hear it over and over again to make sure it was real. The harmonies are fantastic and the style is far above and removed from anything I have heard before. The song writers have got something special and put it together with the lead singer and they are making magic!!!

Wonderwoman

I'm in HEAVEN!
This is an amazing CD which haunts me and in a good way! I want to always hear it which makes me wonder if this band has put a spell on it's fans?
