Ben Solem

A robot techno genocide space opera?
I've been following Ultra Sheriff since they first put Remove Police up on Newgrounds.com - About three years now that I've been eagerly awaiting this album. It was worth the wait. Clearly taking some inspiration from Daft Punk's sound, Ultra Sheriff has added a plot to the formula - Albeit a somewhat cliche 'Robots destroy mankind' one. Nevertheless, this album is a lot of fun. There's a lot more musical creativity then typical techno, and the lyrics - Both the singer's accent and the writing itself - add an awesome touch of camp to the whole thing. The only thing that could make this music better is a live show!
