The New Song actually came to me in a dream while sleeping in a friend’s apartment in Palo Alto California. It originally had nine verses and an entire choir or Angels. The Queen of my Nighttime was the longest Composition I created on the Fairlight. It consisted of Vocals in the computer. Blues tuned Toms, Tympani, Electric Guitar Chords, and some lyrics about an old album cover. Other songs created from pieces of this masterpiece included the songs Jerrylin and In Seattle; available in Vaughn’s first CD Touch Me.
Listen to the Music was made using a 386 and Cakewalk in 1993. I used a SB AWE 32 sound card, Yamaha FB01 for synth bass and a Roland Rhythm Composer for drums.
