ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I come from a small country. Its language is spoken by fewer people than the population of the city I now live in. Yet the songs of Bulgarian women have been heard all over the globe, and travel even beyond, on board the Voyager spacecraft.
While deeply connected to the ancient villages of my homeland, I need to travel the world as well. One day about 10 years ago, when I was the farthest away from home I had ever been, I found a song on my lips that I had no idea I knew. My journey back to my roots, and deep into my own self, began, and I am still en route. Every day brings the fascinating gifts of surprise, closeness and discovery!
Thank you for sharing it with me.
