ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album was recorded in a the red light district of the Netherlands. I moved from New York to Holland in 2008 to travel the world and record music. With a couple of guitars and a laptop I moved into a small apartment on a cobblestone road in Groningen. I found work engineering recording sessions at a studio in the red light district of the Netherlands. As the days passed, and I recorded more and more musicians I met some of the best musicians from all around the world, including Portugal, Germany, Indonesia, and Slovenia. After endless late night jams, we recorded these 12 songs, composed by myself and arranged for these tremendous musicians. The spirit of those sessions is here for all to experience. Lose yourself in it like we did!

This Album Is Amazing!!!
I'm serious....this is one of the best vocal album i've heard in years. I mean..damn! It's like a mix of Jason Mraz and Sondre Lerche, with all originals. Pick any track and more then likely you will love it. Once among the trees, Last Year's Landlord and Doris Day should be all in the next big movie soundtrack. I can't stress this enough. It's completely amazing and for a while I was speechless....
The arrangements are carefully written out, and so are the lyrics. I'll go ahead and say this is one of the best albums for 2010, and as I write this...it's a cold say in the city on December 2009!!
It really is that good...

Finally!
Warpold Wine has done it. Songwriting is an art again. In a time where people try way too hard to create "complex"music, Warpold Wine just lets his art flow creating simple, thought provoking music. It really is a breath of fresh air in a musical world filled with smog.

This is the kind of music that should be on the radio
I just thought I'd leave a review because this cd is amazing, I can't listen to it enough. I love track 8 A Few More Matchsticks it almost brings me to tears every time, but actually I love the whole album and Lights Down is so good, too. My boyfriend and I sometimes listen to it during.....you know. :) It's hard to find a full album that's great all the way through for THAT. haha ok I think that's enough about that! I just love the music.
